  1. Dom Tyson is Dom Tyson. He is not Pendlebury, or anyone else for that matter. And yes, he is very good.
  2. Do you think they'll really have flying cars by then?
  3. It could be that they don't include people who have requested that they not be tracked. Computers don't usually make mistakes like this. If there's one thing they're good at, it's counting stuff.
  4. Real men don't shave at all.
  5. Anyone who has an hour and a half spare, I highly recommend you listen to (at least) the last Breaking Bad podcast. It's basically a huge monologue by the show's creator. It's extremely interesting, and gives a great insight into the what-ifs and whyfores of the show. Highly recommended. The link is http://www.amctv.com/shows/breaking-bad/insider-podcast-season-5
  6. I just watched the Breaking Bad finale. I think they nailed it pretty well.
  7. Breaking Bad finale time tomorrow. Badass! And those podcasts are great. I've listened to all of them, and they provide so much interesting info about the show.
  8. Psyche myself up for the Breaking Bad finale.
  9. HOGAN, DAWES: Hagendaas HOWE, WATTS: (Who where and when) CLARK, KENT: Superman Surely this must have been planned from the beginning.
  10. My inside sources tell me the reason Abbot beat Rudd was that half the country voted for some guy called Roos. Go figure.
  11. For what it's worth, I agree with him. That's where I've always seen as his best position. Great disposal into the forward line where it's needed, and a good sense of the game which would allow him to drift forward or back as required.
  12. Sorry. One thread is about Jack Watts. The other thread is about Paul Roos. That picture is about both.
  13. I disagree on both counts. He actually is involved in a lot of possession chains, which means he doesn't turn it over. And slow? I don't think that's true either. He's no Patrick Dangerfield, but he's also no Jack Trengove either.
  14. Agree on Pederson but Byrnes has been one of our better players this year.
  15. Don't forget to pack the bar b cue.
  16. I'd read it, but I'm worried that there'd be too much sex in the book (it being written by Gerard Whately and all).
  17. The only thing that can replace a meal is another meal.
  18. What would be more embarrassing to us? That our rejects are actually good, or that they suck? Surely it's the latter.
  19. "Pine for the fjords!?" What kind of talk is that?
  20. It's barely a footy thread. If it weren't so popular, I'd say it should be put in the Off-Topic section of the forum. But if it did go there, it would die a slow and horrible death because nobody ever visits Off-Topic.
  21. Is that because the ice sucks or because it's a crime to put any ice in beer whatsoever.
  22. Agreed. I hold no ill-will towards Chris Judd (or Tom Scully) for pursuing the largest contracts they could. But the extracurricular payments Judd gets makes me extraordinarily skeptical of his moral outlook. Likewise, Tom Scully's willingness to lie to people he had worked closely with for two years is just totally unnecessary and (to my mind) non-sensical. In the words of the judge from Shawshank, they strike me as "particularly icy and remorseless men." It chills my blood just to look at them. I don't have any real problems with lying, per se. It's unnecessary lying that I detest.
  23. I was defending him against people who wanted to delist him two years ago. I still reckon he has at least as much to offer us as Jordie Gysberts.Bottom line is I bags'ed him first. You can still support him, but I'm first in line!
  24. I thought Evans was my boy.
