I'm happy to keep him. Has a point of difference that not many of our players have. If we can get him down to $400k at 3 years than I think we've done well. Levi Greenwood signed for $400k a year and I reckon Howe has done more in his career than Greenwood.

The definition of a recruit that hit the ground running. I reckon his best asset is that he's so hard to tackle, and breaks them with ease. Has a surprising amount of pace for someone who looks a bit on the porky side of things.

I thought North were tremendous in winning 2 finals.They're 4-2 in finals over the last 2 years which is a good record in anyone's language. I hate North as much as the next Melbourne supporter but credit where credit is due - finals wins are hard to get.

I rate that second St Kilda game (this thread refers to) as almost our worst performance of the year. We let a bloke on one leg destroy us - doesn't say much for our defence. On topic I'm probably in favour of him staying. His good probably outweighs his bad and we need experience in our defence as it's quite an inexperienced defence.

In my opinion this award holds more weight than the official All Australian side. This award is chosen by the judges that matter the most- the coaches. The offical All Australian is picked by peanuts like Mark Evans and Luke Darcy

Had an absolute Barry Crocker in the Round 1 NAB game V's Freo and then failed to impress in the Casey practice matches.
