He smashed Hogan in the Nab Challenge game we played against Essendon's fill in side.
-
And we'll beat Geelong at Simmonds again next year to be the best performed away side down there since 2005.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM

We were rumoured to be interested in Varcoe before everyone here laughed the it off. -
My north supporter mate reckons Marshmellows have a harder edge to them than Bastinac.

I was doing cart wheels when we got Vince for pick 23 because I knew it was essentially a straight swap of Sylvia for Vince -
Nathan Jones to undergo neck surgery
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demon_JB's topic in Melbourne Demons
Makes total sense. It was another Nathan Jones out there V's GWS. I remember everyone couldn't believe how bad he was that game. I recall he was rested in the forward pocket for the majority of the second half. -

In other news, Essendon are trying to sell Courtney Dempsey to Melbourne for Angus Brayshaw as well as a late MFC draft pick as a sweetener. -

Watts for Melksham straight swap? No exchange of picks, no steak knives, nothing , just a straight swap. -
So what if St Kilda are into everyone. Don't they have a right to.Weren't we going to do a Dom Tyson like trade with Hrovat last year - as in down grading our first round pick for him.

2015 Player Review - # 7 Jack Viney
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
That was me.Yes, I wrote him off because I thought his kicking was atrocious last year and in the NAB Challenge I've already eaten my pie - humble flavour -
2015 Player Review - # 10 Angus Brayshaw
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
He'll be Melbourne's long term captain after Jones. -
A poor mans Colin Garland, and Garland ain't all that rich.
-
He has a lot of talent but I don't think he'll make it at AFL level, if that makes sense. Pedo would give us equal amount of value.

2015 Player Review - # 1 Jesse Hogan
Bring-Back-Powell replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I've just drafted my best 22 for next year and I've slotted Hogan in it. -
The Keith "Bluey" Truscott Memorial Trophy - 2015

We've been the laughing stock of the league when it comes to drafting and trading but fair to say we may have done ok with the Sylvia out and Vince in dealings. Congrats to Bernie! Would have to be Melbourne's best import in many many years. -
Hype about the Saints - is it justified?

Let's bag St Kilda when we finally win a game against them! With regards to the St Kilda being the media's love child, Damian Barrett actually had a crack at them last week for their poor finish to the season. -
I'm not sure there was anything wrong with what Blease said this morning. He said a great club like Geelong has made him a better person. Tick. Said the MFC was too unstable to get the best out of players and got rid of veterans like McDonald too early. Tick. Says he has a lot of mates at Melbourne and hopes the club goes well in the future. Tick.

Some serious questions asked about Paul Roos ...
Bring-Back-Powell replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Everyone keeps banging on about how bad the first St Kilda loss was but I reckon the second game at the MCG was more of a debacle. At least we played good footy at stages in the first game. -
I thought he was brilliant yesterday on 3 fronts: 1) His terrific contested marking 2) His pace 3) His toughness, which was on display since his debut. I admit I wrote him off last week due to his poor ball use but was pleasantly surprises yesterday. Then again, I wrote off Jack Viney after the Essendon Nab Challenge game

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Bring-Back-Powell replied to praha's topic in Melbourne Demons
I've got another streak: We haven't won at Etihad as an away team since round 12 2006, vs Essendon. -

I certainly did. The amount of heartbreaking losses we've had at that joint.... -

According to afl website, MARK Brayshaw is starting on the bench. We wish him luck after 25 years out of the game.
