2019 Fixture
I used to hate the idea of selling home games in the NT. However, we’ve finally started to win games there to the point where we went 2-0 there this year. And they were both dominant performances. We’ve also mastered the recovery component of NT games as we’ve won our last 4 games the week after NT games. Hopefully we can make the NT a fortress gong forward whereby we get an automatic 4 points, the opposition dread the trip up there and we cash in financially. And we still get our 11-12 games at the G. North will play finals next year due to playing 4 games at their ‘fortress’. And hopefully we’re too good for West Coast Adelaide with those 2 extra wins getting us into the top 2 after rd 23.

2019 Fixture
The weather shouldn't be an issue in Alice Springs in mid July, which is when we play WCE. The game starts at 2:50 so the second half will be played in the shade and the average maximum is only 20 in July.

2019 Fixture
We actually also got a 6 day break after Alice this year when we played the Dogs after the Adelaide game. Hopefully getting a 9 day break after the Darwin game next year will be of benefit as opposed to the usual 7.

2019 Fixture
West Coast, Collingwood and Richmond twice. We play Gold Coast and West Coast back to back interstate. West Coast off a 6 day break. Very stiff draw.

2019 Fixture
Could be a Friday night game in Melbourne for us in round 3 if we’re playing Thursday in round 4. No way the AFL would give us a 5 day break and a 4 day break in the one month...

2019 Fixture
Great idea. Except Eddie will throw the toys out of the cot and demand a new queens birthday partner. And the AFL will roll over to him.

I get the feeling we’ll playing in the NT for the next 20 years at least.

2019 Fixture
I would've thought one of Pert's first gigs on the job would've been to ensure we keep Q'bday as our home game until the following season. We're already missing out on a ton of gate receipts as the away team on Anzac Eve. Perhaps we have some blockbuster home Friday night games to offset the Queens Birthday loss of revenue??

2019 Fixture
Ironic that we're all complaining about Darwin, yet in 2018 we ended up winning 7 of the next 9 games after Darwin which included our best month of footy (rd 22 - semi final) since 2006.

No. But I enjoy getting fixture leaks.

2019 Fixture
Particularly if our only Friday night game is interstate. Would be absolutely no improvement on 2018's fixture. Surely we'll get at least one MCG Friday night block buster at the G??

2019 Fixture
Hoping we get 2 Friday night games in Melbourne for the first time since 2011. We may get as little as zero though.

2019 Fixture
Can’t believe we haven’t travelled in round 1 since 1998 (against Jesse’s mob)

2019 Fixture
I don’t understand your gripe. A season is 23 weeks. Not just round 1. If we end up having 0 Friday night games then I’ll sympathise with you.

2018 Player Reviews: # 20 Corey Maynard
I thought he showed a lot of promise in the AFL X game against Carlton.

AFLX squad
I see what you did there. Well played sir. Well played.

AFLX squad
I'd rather win the AFLX than have T Mac available for 6 meaningless home and away games.

AFLX squad
I'm already having sleepless nights thinking about how we're going to defend our title.

Random MFC encounters
Geez what a professional bunch they must have been! Getting well and truly on the sauce 3 weeks before round 1

2019 best 22 and depth chart
We could've gotten a high quality winger on the cheap but Hawthorn got in first.

2019 Fixture
Incredibly we haven't played Essendon twice in a season since 2005 and Sydney since 2007. Surely we double up against these two sometime soon. My predictions on who we play twice. Richmond West Coast Sydney Essendon Brisbane Expecting a much tougher fixture next year.

Is your sauce good? A strong word sweeping around town is a Oct 31st/Nov 1 release.

Daniel Menzel
His last 5 games (starting from the final and backwards) against us in terms of goals kicked are: 0,0,4,4,4

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Yeah good question. Nor sure if it will be more towards the Tom Scully end of “lucky to make it out of the G alive” booing or the Addam Maric/Ricky Petterd “didn’t even realised he moved club” booing.
