  1. Belongs in the horrible records thread. We haven't won a game in this event.
  2. Strongly agree with that. A pity he can't do anything else anymore aside from a set shot for goal which he's still brilliant at.
  3. If we win 0 or 1 game at our home ground in 2019, then that's a complete indictment on the senior coach. he has to totally overhaul the game plan if he wants to last more than 2 more years in the gig. Once you're sacked, you don't get another chance at this caper.
  4. It scares me too that I can't see where our next win is coming from. We ain't beating Hawthorn this week in our current state. I honestly think we're a sniff against Gold Coast next week and possibly Carlton in round 16 and Bulldogs in in round 17 if both sides aren't mentally switched on. I think there will be a tipping point (in terms of coaching or staff movements) if we can't beat Gold Coast, the team we were leading 77-6, ten minutes into the second quarter in round 19 last year.
  5. He WAS taken off the ground. Did a fitness test on the boundary line, looked in agony, so obviously we sent him back onto the ground in a meaningless game.
  6. We said the same thing about St Kilda coming off a brutal game (V Hawks) on a 6 day break compared to our 9 day break and look how well that turned out for us.
  7. Sauce? Can't find that confirmed anywhere.
  8. Has the obligatory "We're in crisis, let's give Garry a phone call" occurred yet?
  9. What are the implications if we lose to both Hawthorn and Gold Coast?
  10. If we get done by Gold Coast in 2 weeks, who will likely have come off back to back to back 50+ point losses and were touted to win about 2 games this year, then surely someone’s going to cop a bullet - Ala Neeld for the Dons last year.
  11. We like to trade first rounders for defenders so I’m expecting us to trade our pick 2 for an out of favour Lachie Henderson from Geelong.
  12. Surely May doesn’t get the 4 days off - he apparently had long enough in the off season.
  13. Hawks will probably get Patton for an 8th rd draft pick and then demand a sweetener from GWS.
  14. A couple of weeks of a couple of games? If a couple of weeks, the long break could get him up for GC. But does it really matter at this point?
  15. Thanks mate. Totally forgot about him.
  16. Not sticking up for Misson as he’s run his race here but who aside from Hogan was out injured in last year’s finals?
  17. Harsh mate. He did keep Lynch to 1 goal and quite frankly didn’t do much wrong for the entire night. Deserves votes tonight and may have to say back until May or Lever returns.
  18. We might finally get that pick 1 we’ve been craving!
  19. Anyone give us a sniff V Gold Coast as that might be the closet thing to a win we’ll have for the next 10 weeks.
  20. Any reason why after years of linking arms around each other’s shoulder for the national anthem and Anzac ceremony we decided not to do it this year?
  21. He’ll be happy with that. Can now wear his beloved Richmond scarf and polo to the game.
  22. That would be coaching 101 to have T Mac playing as a defender tonight. Hibberd on Jack Riewoldt or Lynch probably isn’t desirable as we found out last week.
  23. Lucky it wasn’t a set shot.
  24. Any chance Richmond might be a bit knackered from Saturday night and won' have the energy to go on a 16 goal second half avalanche? If that's the case we must stay close with them at half time if we're any chance of a respectable result. Yes I know we alos played on Saturday, but we only ran one way so should have plenty in the tank...
