  1. Richmond missing Cotchin, Prestia, Astbury, Butler and Lambert. Looks like the first leg won't even stand up. Though Richmond supporters will claim they finally have injuries...(in a dead rubber game for them)
  2. It's going to be 24 and sunny in Perth on Sunday? Will that be too hot for us?
  3. And it will be JFK of all players that will be responsible for that behind. Can see it now. I'm assuming you're accounting for Geelong beating Gold Coast by 160 points and Port winning both games. I am.
  4. It's actually 4 games which makes it seriously unlikely we'll be limping into finals with 12 wins. 1. Richmond beating Essendon 2. Collingwood beating Port 3. Adelaide beating North 4. Essendon beating Port.
  5. Don't know if it makes you feel any better but Zach Tuohy took that mark 7 seconds before the siren went, not one second. So we'll miss the finals by 7 seconds...
  6. And I also think the TAB are high with installing us $1.65 favorites to beat the hottest side in the league next week.
  7. If Pedo can do a better job trying to get us into the finals than Weid then Pedo stays. Can't afford to have someone on his L plates in MFC's two most important weeks in years. Having said that Pedo has been atrocious this year in the seniors. A real step back from a good 2017.
  8. He's kicked 9 goals in the 7 games we've played against the top 9 sides, and 3 of those came in round 1. Perhaps we may function better without him against the top sides. That's the only positive I can take out of this injury.
  9. Sam Weideman, come on down! I know you're a 1 goal a game battling forward at Casey, but it's time you arrived in the big league and justify the top 10 pick we spent on you. (Or do we go with a TMac/ Pedo fwd line?)
  10. Richmond are so lucky they even time their key injuries to perfection. They finally get an injury one of their stars, but it turns out he'll only miss a couple of dead rubbers and the bye week.
  11. There could be a scenario in play whereby if Hawthorn lose to Sydney in round 23, the top 4 of the ladder could look like this just prior to the Melb V GWS game. Richmond 18-4 WCE 16-6 Collingwood 15-7 GWS 14-6-1 Seeing that GWS would already have top 4 stitched up and can't get into top 2, that might take a bit of fizz off their desire to win the game. They may even prefer to come down to Melbourne in week 1 of finals than travel all the way to WA?? They may even rest a couple of players or not rush back Toby Greene?? Clutching at straws I know, but every 1 per center helps.
  12. Hopefully we have better luck in it than the pink jumper which we are 0-6 in.
  13. Why are we $1.55 favorites to beat the hottest team in the league in GWS?
  14. Exactly. He looks a million bucks when we're beating up on GC and Brisbane.
  15. Perhaps Goodwin can invite the players on an optional camp. Players are welcome to decline but will play for Casey the entire year.
  16. Assuming we have a close loss and a close win, Geelong would need to win both of their games by a combined 200 points to catch us on percentage. Given they play Freo who have half of their side including Fyfe and Gold Coast, it's quite achievable.
  17. Any chance of this MULTI coming up for us to make final on 12 wins: 1.Essendon to losing to Richmond 2.Port losing to Collingwood 3. North losing to Adelaide 4. Port losing to Essendon.
  18. Sounding like Josh Kennedy may actually play if you believe the West Coast forum on Bigfooty.
  19. Interesting that not long after the Dogs gifted us a win, we totally went off the rails. We had a decent lead prior to that. I know it was probably a coincidence, but it shows how mentally weak we are as a club.
  20. 1) Geelong can easily catch us on percentage. A 70 point win over Freo and a 110 point win over GC will probably do it. 2) if Adelaide lose to GWS tonight, Iโ€™m worried theyโ€™ll have nothing to play for against North and subsequent lose.
  21. Some of his disposal last week (albeit against GC) was pick 3 in the draft quality. Not something we often associate with Tyson. He may be back after a patchy couple of years.
  22. If you're JFK (and Vanders) you wouldn't want to play a poor game with Melksham and Hibberd due back next week.
  23. If T Mac continues to kick like last week, he'll probably be of more use down back. Pedo's been starring in defence so I expect him play some heavy minutes down there and then chop Max out.
