This is how I see it. OUT Chandler Brayshaw JVR Laurie IN Spargo JJ Grundy Woewodin FB- Hibberd May Bowey HB- McVee Lever Rivers C- Hunter Viney Langdon HF- Sparrow Fritsch ANB FF- Pickett Smith Tmac R- Gawn Oliver Petracca INT-JJ Salem Spargo Grundy Sub Woewodin Chandler albeit playing the high half forward role doesn’t have enough impact for mine. We know that at least Spargo when he has it will make the right decision and hit a target and always finds a goal or two. JJ is only other option to come in for Brayshaw. Laurie gives us absolutely nothing, too small, doesn’t find the ball enough, I’d rather a kid that can come into the game with some pace if needed. Unfortunately Grundy is the only viable option left for us. His attitude stinks in regards to playing forward but I challenge anyone to pick Schache and go into this elimination final with confidence. That being said it wouldn’t surprise me.

Here me out.. If this kid Turner can take an intercept mark down back. Why couldn’t he play up forward?

Lads. I think we’ll get another look at Grundy this week if they expect Fristch to be back for rd 24 makes it a pretty easy decision if it fails again. I think the way forward into finals is this. Oliver returns to the middle, Petracca starts Fwd and plays predominantly as a forward unless the panic button is hit and once and if Fristch comes back he takes Grundys spot and Smith stays in. Interestingly enough Not one Top 4 team has won away against another Top 4 club. Both interstate clubs have a home ground with a ground with shallow wings.
