Question for @binman If Petracca is more likely to play more time forward and ANB’s main job is to cover Petracca’s opponent defensively in the middle when he plays in the middle. Surely there is no need for ANB and he is first dropped after his last couple of games..

I reckon Petracca has had about 10+ of these reset recovery sessions since last Friday. He’s giving Walt Disney a run for his money! My gut feel is he’ll run out looking like this tomorrow!

Average at best? He’d just kicked 11 goals in 4 games and taken 5 contested marks, was averaging 12-13 disposals a game. IMO he was in good form and building.

I got in on my phone at 1006am. Got 3 in Level 2 almost where my membership seat is. No problems!

I can tell you last week it wasn't any easier trying to get tickets as an MFC Redlegs member.

Im not saying they should bring in Tmac. But we were horribly exposed for the lack of a second key forward. Even if Melksham kicked straight. We constantly win the ball in the middle and snap it out to CHF to only have ANB or Sparrow contest it and with Brayshaw not on the wing now we lack a link up down the line. We need one of Smith or Weid or JVR in to straighten us up. In finals you HAVE to kick down the line and take territory when the pressure is on. You need big fwds to compete and at least half the contest. That IMO is not having Spargo ANB or Sparrow (who played well) trying to wrestle 2 opponents and if we go in and ask Petracca to play 80% fwd we are kidding ourselves.

For the last 2 games. I haven’t watched the replay pf the QF yet, but live we didn’t look to take many risks ( i was level 1 on the wing).

This is exactly how i’m thinking. We need Gawn to channel his inner Garry Lyon and “dee”liver another big captains game like he did in the prelim last year!
