  1. @binman If Melbourne win the flag this year I put all down to your extreme confidence. Your confidence makes my optimism look like 1159pm on the doomsday clock!
  2. I couldn’t believe how many cats fans left early. It was beautiful.
  3. This is the same hope we had in 2010/11 and would never beat the hawks. I hope we mail these bastards by 10 goals!
  4. I was at both of their break out games. I sat in the players stand at Kadina Park the day Gawn come of age and and when Nibbler kicked 3 and Jones and Vince put on a clinic and we spanked the cats on Corey Enrights 300th!
  5. Quality pod as usual!
  6. And Carlton won the flag by the sounds of it!
  7. Lads. I think we’ll get another look at Grundy this week if they expect Fristch to be back for rd 24 makes it a pretty easy decision if it fails again. I think the way forward into finals is this. Oliver returns to the middle, Petracca starts Fwd and plays predominantly as a forward unless the panic button is hit and once and if Fristch comes back he takes Grundys spot and Smith stays in. Tracc JVR Chandler Pickett Smith/Grundy/Fristch Melk Thoughts?
  8. More Heart than Grundy
  9. Melbournes- Best On Ground
  10. This is a good Twitter handle to follow! https://twitter.com/freo1strdpick23/status/1680542298638041088?s=46
  11. Here is some food for thought. 2023 Top 4 against each other (no double ups) after rd 18. Port 2 W 1 L (Ws at H Lions Dees) Lions 2 W 1 L (Ws at H v Pies Dees) Pies 1 W 2 L (W at H v Port) Dees 1 W 2 L (W at H v Pies) So our win on Friday is not included. Interestingly enough Not one Top 4 team has won away against another Top 4 club. Both interstate clubs have a home ground with a ground with shallow wings.
  12. Binman is talking quantum physics type analysis whilst the Deebrief is dealing in algebra. Big fan of both styles of podcast!
  13. That’s a mulligan for me. Gawn went down in the first 5 and we were rattled.
  14. I’d rather see JVR come in and play then connecting CHF role on the wind. I don’t have enough fingers to count the amount of times we kicked to Spargo/ANB/Melksham on the wing.
  15. Should have been dropped 3 weeks ago!
  16. Ha! Some solid efforts turning it over or fumbling!
  17. Here’s one for the entire club at the moment. WEAK AS [censored].
  18. Langdon is a shadow of his former self.
  19. Ladies and Gentleman. It was a good ā€œeraā€ while it lasted. But even with Oliver back. We aren’t doing any damage in September. Too many passengers. The wet just makes it more obvious who they are. ANB (I can’t defend this guy anymore) Chandler should hav been dropped 2-3 weeks ago. Smith- Isn’t the answer. Melksham being picked as the sub shows how good our ā€œdepthā€ is. I couldn’t think of a worse player to have as the sub in these conditions. Langdon- Having no impact.
  20. And ANB is a Brownlow medalist.
  21. Scotch mode activated.
  22. Can’t wait to watch us try and over handball it all day. Might get some scotch instead of beer!
  23. I was there. The conditions were ****house. As soon as they got 2 goals up we were F’d. In the off season we need to go hard at a genuine seasoned Key Forward.
  24. Apology excepted.. Our Forward line was impotent. Can someone get @kev martin to take a 2 metre long sized banner that says ā€œLEAD AT THE BALLā€ to training? And another that says.. ā€DOUBLE BACKā€
  25. I know right? Will cost me the price of petrol to drive my mate down!
