Disagree. I don’t think Bowza has the same penetration or depth to his kicking. Similar skill level, but Salem has that left foot class. Bowza has the little chip kick game, but his little legs don’t match Salo’s

Problem is he is scared of contact. Hunter looks to thrive on it. Unless it’s a dry fast day, Billings is useless.

It would at the least explain a few things! What are you thoughts on ANB & Salems games this week? ANB looks to be evening up our centre bounces and Salem’s physicality and hands around the ball beefed up our midfield IMO. (I still think Salem should have come back through the VFL)

I couldn’t agree more. If he gets a run and jump at it he can take a mark. But he has no idea how to play as a fwd.

Why not? (Im Sure the arm chair experts will tell you why). We’ve had no luck when drafting for future prospects in this. Why not take a punt on a mature Key Fwd.

As Andy would say, we should have beaten Stkilda by 60+ today if we kicked straight and after losing to WCE the percentage would have been more than handy! ANB’s form is growing by the week, do you guys think he has been given the impossible task of filling the whole Gus left? Also Might be harsh after 2 games, but how many more games will McAdam get if he fails to hit the scoreboard? Pressure acts, yeah yeah I get it. But he is supposed to be a marking medium sized goal kicking opportunistic fwd, all I’ve seen so far is mis timed flies at a pack and a very small frame being pushed off the ball.

He did more in the first half than Billings had in the past 4 weeks. He’s tougher than Billings and matches him for skill. The knock on he tapped to maybe Chandler? From a 50/50 is proof of that, he even got back into defence to spoil. I don’t think Billings has done that in his entire career.

I watched him from the Punt rd end. Calling what he does inside the F50 as a lead is lip service. The guy runs 5ms and gives up. He should be leaving up at the kicker trying to create space behind him instead of contesting it up, he has 0 craft.
