Yet for completely different reasons. Ours was with so many coming back from surgery, not enough of a pre season to be fit enough etc. Theirs is self inflicted poor list management. -
I don't believe Kayo is showing any VFL this year.
-
And Farmer only got back on cos someone got injured otherwise he was gonna sit the rest of the game on the pine.

Born in 86, I started with the 21 premiership side and then made changes from there... I could do this team 100 times. Hibberd May Lever Jetta Petty Salem Tingay Woewodin Langdon Pickett Lyon Petracca Farmer Neitz Fritsch Gawn Oliver Viney Stynes Bruce Brayshaw Yze Changes from from the 21 premiership side Out. In Brown - Neitz Tmac - Lyon Bowey - Jetta Jackson - Stynes Sparrow - Bruce Harmes. - Woewodin (moved Petracca to HFF) Rivers - Tingay (Moved Brayshaw to bench) Spargo - Yze ANB - Farmer

Looking forward to the Casey game today although I am tempted to flick on the battle of our ex forwards at 2:10 for Weid VS Hogan today.

I agree, West Coast won't kick as many as 7 🤣

The draw has never been fair... but where it works the other way in our favour is we generally play GWS in Melbourne because we get a bigger crowd. We've played 6 of the last 9 times in Melbourne.

Welcome to Demonland: James Jordon

Me too as Melksham has been named for Casey. Not the first time he's been the sub at Optus and that game was pretty special. -
You are spot on. I had a quick look into the attendance numbers and for us against West Coast and over the last 20 years in Melbourne, Well it has been pretty poor. An average of 20K at the MCG where in WA (optus/subiaco) when we play WC they average at least 40k. It's double the revenue in ticket sales for the AFL for us to go over there if we only play them once during in the season. Now we haven't had a chance to see what the numbers would be for a crowd at the MCG since 2014 as we sold our home game in 2019 to NT. I would imagine if this game was in Melbourne this year we'd crack 40k

I prefer BT not commentating collingwood or richmond games cos he loves them and Melbourne games cos he hates us. He's also more fun when he call's on the radio when he can be a bit more of a larrikin

Death Riding Fremantle 2023 - Feathered Cap Edition

I feel there is a lot of truth to this summary as signing Jackson has thrown off their team balance however an equal factor is the best 22 players that left. Griffen Logue, Blake Acers and Rory Lobb. They have the cattle to win maybe 5-8 games this year. -
Thats why I asked for an explanation. The photos I have are being circulated by the herald sun now anyway (not from me).
-
The media only want it because trade news articles get the most clicks. AFL journalism is a profit based business. Image the year long speculation about players moving clubs with two transfer windows instead of one, it will be a nightmare.
-
Thank you for the explanation. I guess I'll keep the truth to myself and everyone else can speculate.

Why did my comment get deleted? I just quoted what Jack Crisp said since I have a copy of it.

I am a big fan of the Grundy, Oliver, Trac and Sparrow combo -
Here is a crude version of what I think you are asking for I found on google. Basically every logo in Victoria should be smaller and closer to the Melbourne logo bar Geelong

MELBOURNE V SYDNEY – THE MONGREL REVIEW

My Dad and I had the same discussion at the ground during the game -
We kicked 16.1 from set shots against Sydney. An immense improvement on 2022, Thank you Mark Williams

I'm confused that you feel that way because I've always thought Jake was a reliable kick. I've just checked that stats Jake Lever has an average of 82% disposal efficiency since joining us which compared to the rest of the AFL is elite. His kicking efficiency for that time is all over 80%. He is currently at 83.6% this year which is a career high.
