  1. All they care about is clicks. It's a part of the strategy of writing headlines to covert. More clicks = More revenue. Leaving the second part vague means more people will click the article to find out who it is (where most Dees fans would already know).
  2. Had 4 goals between them prior to their injuries. Looked like it was working to me off the small sample size.
  3. At the time of the trade we all wanted more. It's only overs now because of their terrible season this year. None of us forecasted that a top 10 pick would land in our laps this year.
  4. Simon has said he has been experimenting with the forward line since the Fritsch and Oliver injuries, What we saw on the weekend was another experiment and to everyones joy a successful one. Which this mix has come around from all the players mentioned in my previous post being injured or out of form and coming out of the side. I wasn't saying those players should come all come in, we have large depth only 6 of our players have played every game this year. It's obvious we are better with Max in this role and the current forward line mix had the best result all year and what we should persist with towards finals.
  5. I had forgotten that our first quarter score defeated their full time score.
  6. I would say Goodwin would see it differently for best or ideal 22. A fit and in form Spargo Hibberd and Grundy over Chandler, Bowey and JVR. Sparrow over Woewodin Clarry over JJ and Fritsch for Melksham. We are quite off our ideal 22, that's without considering Brown and Tmac. What a brilliant list we have.
  7. Generally that will be Max making that decision mid contest, depending on how he's bodied his opponent and opened up the drop zone of the ball.
  8. Just finished a full game replay and wow, what a game. great performance for the boys. Hilarious to find that every single one of the free kicks these sooky Tiger fans are crying about were 100% correct.
  9. Suns looking good to get that one game gap back. Death Ride Brisbane, beat Richmond get back on same points
  10. No Darcy releases Jackson to do his thing, they are better team with him as No 1 ruck. Also no pressure, they can just go out and play footy

Apologies WCW, my intention of my post was not to infer that you or the numbers were wrong. I was curious, so ran the calculations on the remainder and shared them. I have heard those figures thrown around before
  12. They are playing quite well so far only 7 points behind the Lions rn, they are in this game.
  13. With what money in the soft cap? They would have to replace other people at the club.
  14. Yes, However I am not sure if we can fit a payout in this years salary cap.

That leaves 5.5 million for the remaining 32 players. Thats roughly 171K each on average
  16. I agree in terms of injuries. Tmac's foot seems absolutely cooked and Browns knee is repetitively troublesome. I just don't see either retiring by their own choice and leaving contracted money on the table. I would happily be wrong.
  17. What makes you believe that?
  18. Love Jack, bleeds red and blue. Wish the interview was longer
  19. They play each other next week so at least one of them will get a win Freo has Lions, Eagles, Port, Hawks Suns have Lions, crows, swans, blues north Crows have port, suns, lions, swans, eagles
  20. Both BBB and Tmac have contracts for next year and I don't see anyone taking them.
  21. Pick 4's not gone yet. Depends on GC A Geelong loss always feels good, makes the squeeze for bottom 4 of the 8 tougher for them.
  22. Their full record at the MCG since becoming the Brisbane Lions is 59 games, 16 wins , 1 draw and 42 losses. 11 of those are in finals for 5 wins and 6 losses.
  23. FritschyBusiness replied to Ollie fan's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Generally, the commentary team "cheer" for the losing side so the game seems more competitive and engaging. Happens in almost every game.
  24. It took a year for May and Lever to get their chemistry, it's gonna take a year for Gawn and Grundy
  25. The talk has come from GW bringing it up on Crunch time today and to put it in his words "Sure, Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant tag teamed sometimes but they are better opponents" It's not happening, we are not trading him.
