  1. Presumed you meat the HUN ! i have a digital membership ( heard of that OD ???) snd have read the Jon Ralph article with Gil featuring a bit ALSO the Ballot Membership and ticketing Plus Covid crowd no's totals starting at 50%. Have been there done that all last season in Qld as a member of their MCC lookalike the Gabba Trust plus some extra games as Gen admission at the Gabba including the Prelim Final Lions vs Cats with 75% crowd allowed. Also for Test cricket in Jan. Not one sentence in either if those articles contradicted my post ( in fact you didn't need to read the paper OD) and having adapted it's no problem. at all to follow These relatively simple procedures to ensure a healthy crowd at the game, to confirm with the tracing requirements should they be necessary. Next question OD ??
  2. BDA I live in Qld so understand your point but cricket negotiated something hurdles and I would expect Anna will be flexible up to a point.WA is another case!!
  3. Thing is Browne has no further info nit dies Club at this stage as suggested getting more info. If we read the info about training or lack of it yesterday it indicated that the players have been given FOUR days off which IMO answers it all.
  4. If we wish to improve then as I have stated in my posts it's time to give the youth a go ( as long as they have earned it ) This means the following being 2018 heroes who have done little since or not improved are under the kosh Nev Jetta AVB ANB Harmes Melksham. Hibbo went well last year and deserves his spot. Players like Sparrow Jordon Kossie Jacko Riv Laurie Bowey Rosman even Chandler Neitshke and Baker are all in the mix. Add Langers Tommo and BBB and half our team is Different! That's why so am so bullish about our 2021 !!
  5. Boy you can dull a crowd OD! Where do you get your info from? The AFL are determined to keep to the draw as announced to Round 6 Without disruption. Talk is that at some stage each team may go interstate to play 2 games or similar but no hubs as per last year. Criwds are looking to start at a minimum 50% and improve on that. AFL are super keen to get the jewel in their crown Victoria up and running as trouble free as possible after last year. Thousands who have stuck with us over the decades are either in the Half glass full or empty category.or just go each year and especially so after a year off last year!! Just because you have already excused yourself from attending till July once the Covid conditions are applied by the Health Dept it's up to the individual if any other health issues are relevant. Of course you could always get your jab Which would be a positive start!!! I am looking to get mine ASAP so I can make choices about coming from interstate to go to the G! I BTW I am in my 55th consecutive years membership with Grand Final guarantee. Sorry that's a bit Too much positive for you to take in In one post!!
  6. That's a short/medium term look DD the long term inJuly on if we are in the 8 and flying looks totally different. Get on board and the rewards are there. Take a chance Better to get out in open air and atmosphere at the G!!
  7. Pretty good team DeeS. Might need Mitch Brown in 22 for versatility instead of Chandler or ANB. Would love Jordon in the 22 also but as long as we are giving chances to the youngsters who have earned their spots over the period and/or this pre season.
  8. If Fraser doesn't play it Laurie or Bowey will and Fraser plays his natural position which he will make his own the wing opposite Langers!!
  9. All Clubs are restricted by training and access due to Covid regs.etc. You are waiting for news that is not there .Picture Galleries have been on The website From the Club and there is no point in taking any from the track watchers on D/L as they are looking through the wire fence. Both Neitschke and Chandler were featured this week and others have been interviewed at training. Actually Ben Gibson does an amazing job forconly the only full timer with dsine help from Caitlyn. There have been Intra Club matches on some training days and featured in the training reports. The AFL practice matches are on next week end but no times vs Tigers fir the match announced as yet. Burgo was good but times are different due to Covid and Casey training and we need to understand this.
  10. Well your post indicated that they should know!!! ( and no to send!!!) Of course they do but when some one presses an email to all on their email list it sends out to all. My point is that to exclude current members or an other group is complicating and unnecessary. BT W don't like or appreciate your comment on another post that I might be Trump for all you know!!! What a criticism and disgrace!!!
  11. Sorry but the post was Allied with yours should have gone back to the original post from BW511.
  12. This is a Club wise email Obviously and we get those about 2 a week plus extra ones. Pleae don't criticise Club for pushing membership and revenue raising avenues in this day and age! They can't have a block on all emails to certain members etc Just delete if you don't have any need for any email FGS.!
  13. NC Yes communication is vital BUT D/L are not the only forum (as POITA thinks). The Club would have about 10/15 groups coteries etc to update information that is mostly placed by our very vigilant D/L hierarchy on this site. Why my approach is IMO the logical and best one is that the Club is not posting any training info ( schedules etc) because of the Covid rules of isolation etc. So if we want any insider info we NEED to be the one to Promote and discuss and negotiate with the Club and appropriate section or Official. I love the reports and are extremely grateful to our D/L track watchers ad I live interstate and on at least 2 occasions have ventured in the past out to Casy to watch training and travelled approx 40 km from the SE suburbs to that ground. BUT no way would I be setting off now without a call to Membership ( they always are helpful) the day before to clarify the details of training the next day. I am pointing out that it's up to US to make The MFC aware of our situation and seek some assistance to help the track watchers. Last week I singled out a possible Inside way to contact the club Through our No 1 track reporter ( Saty) who has contacts. He seems to have gone to ground forvwhatever reasons but it's a possibility to consider also. Its not just Not Solvable by a post in this forum Bleating about Club communication in 2021. With Covid etc we need to be more creative but also more proactive and Logical. And I also see far too many D/L posts just blaming the Club one ATM is the practice match vs Tigers !!! Go Dees
  14. And what issues were they BW ? Lets see this year as I have a feeling with Ooze in charge we will see a 20% improvement as a group in our midfield!
  15. I have always found the Membership Dept Fantastic with questions and assistance. Why not get Richo in the next podcast and have a private chat in the process?? Ir go to the Club and email a message fir a return call. Or ask Memberships help in this matter.
  16. Sorry DeeV you have lost me in this post ! From the Election Terms and conditions you have deduced that we are broke etc and that Covid is a 2 year problem. we play 6 mths from Mar/Sept is our season and the other period is pretty much preparation only. Yes players get paid for Pre Season but their wages are annual!! i am not a financial wizard or accountant but don't agree with your wild IMO assertion Of the Boards AGM report. However I do like your passion and loyalty as I similarly have barracked and supported the Mighty Dees since 1958 including the last 28 years from interstate. I also believe at 72 I will see our next premiership along with many Baby Boomers racing against time!!! Lets hope this year is one out of the Box as I do really think our list is developing nicely and us about the best balanced we have had for many a season. All the best and Go Dees!
  17. Sorry about the drive etc. but as I have posted it's about time DL made an official personal approach to the Footy Manager or CEO and explained this situation I am effort solve it. Richo might be the one!! At worst why not ring the Club and arrange to get advice about training when and where ?? Sorry to be so logical but Think about it like you would in any other capacity business or social!
  18. Still dont know whether Hunty is the real deal Was so pleased about his 4 goals and he generally kicks straight as well. He is not a set up start in the forward line like Fritta but could well be in the 22. The forward line IMO in Round1 should be : Fritta Tmac Spargo Kossie M.Brown Jacko with maybe Hunt and Laurie (or Bowey )ahead of ANB as interchange. Others to spend Time "resting " are Trac Harmes Viney Gus and Clarry maybe even Gawny for a very short change up.
  19. Turner very surprised you are not giving Tommy the benefit of the doubt now that he has done what Goody or Club agreed with him to do. Hr us much lighter and should be much more fitter and move better than the last 2, seasons. His pre season is promising along with his training yet you are bagging him as hopeless almost wishing him to fail. Far from supportive given his efforts so far.
  20. You forgot Sparrow and Jordan plus any of the newbies Laurie Bowey or Rosman.. Any if them are all candidates for early season selection if their form and consistency arevipbtibscrstch.
  21. Sympathies to Sam and the Weideman family. Thinking if you all.
  22. Hopefully Dpargo is selected either way
  23. Maybe for a surprise Change ( rest) for at most 3/5 mins in a desperate last quarter but not really a winner so needs to be done sporadically and strategically. You want him 80% forward and that just won't work plus Jacko deserves about 50% time in the forward line creating havoc as an extra midfielder and hopefully goal assist and/or scorer.
  24. LT I don't think he is going to be barred from defence if a vacancy occurs There also or his form demands a spot in the 22.
