Please take a bex and lie down ! Te you resting Kossie or actually dropping him ? Big difference . Prob won't happen as he doesn't deserve being dropped. May Viney and Tmac in. Smith Melk and Sparrow out.

Well you may regret your action Hardwck now that the GF is a distinct possibility. !
  3. Jetta has not been in this new group other than cameos and clearly sadly is past his best. Hibbo has until his recent drop been very good for the last 2 seasons and is fighting for his life to be part of it. BTW that doesn't diminish Lord Nev's career which has just cycled earlier than this elite group at the moment. As for Bowey yes it's hard on a 2 time sample but any one with footy knowledge and feeling for the game couldn't have been more impressed with his debut so far. He has adapted to the pace of the game and looked composed clever and team orientated. His debut has resembled Trent Rivers while Harry Petty took about half a dozen games to find his feet but now looks like replacing Tommo. Hunt is a pick especially for his run and carry and we may miss this in the next month from our defence but time will tell. This defence is undoubtedly still the cornerstone of our flag tilt along with our elite midfield.

Hibbo before Smithy every day of the week We don't want ill discipline spoiling 5/6 other AA class defenders on the big stage. Smithy could play forward PLEASE.

Bowey is not slow He could run as far as Hunty dodging and weaving AND PASS the ball to a forward or kick straight!!!
  6. You forgot McGovern!!!!
  7. We are just hoping he will be a Caleb Daniel clone and at least half as good. Without putting too much pressure on Bowser this highlight reel gives me the feeling he will be the equal at least IF NOT even better ie. kicking depth especially without losing elite disposal and speed in ball use and on the run himself to be even more attacking than Daniel. Small samples yet but they are very compelling viewing aren't they? JT especially take another bow every thing you promised is true plus a but more as Coming into a top 4 team makes his debut and form even more meritorious!!
  8. Actually his handpassing is out of the Clarry Oliver School of Ball Movement. Would even say the passes are a bit cleaner in delivery to be honest!!!
  9. Didn't you notice the very substantial bulking up of Jacko between seasons LITB? Must have increased weight by 8/10 kgs O would hav thought. Look at some 2020 photos and a recent one and see the arms, body upper especially and legs so much more muscle and definition.
  10. That's because he has probably played about 99 % of his AFL career in defence. But when he has the ball he always tries to turn defence into some attacking move gif the team. Even if he only kicked the ball himself he can roost it an absolute 50m minimum mostly longer though sometimes over 60m. Salo and Bowey are classy players and as you said instinct is very much part of their skill set which sets up play downfield in an attacking flair for our forwards mids and on ballers.
  11. By tights should get another nomination but maybe give to Bowey this time !!!
  12. Any comments The Silent Dr D ???
  13. Sorry Jake is not dethroned by a 2 gamer who nevertheless is a star in the making maybe a Rising one at that!!
  14. Congrats to Nibbler on his 100 games. Whlie he has been a player our TV screens are screamed at or match day records are torn up he has proved that his 20 games this year have been by far his best in a block so far. And last night his best game ever ( or most valuable contribution) came on the big stage and his goals were priceless. Could easily be a best wild X factor in the Finals going under the radar if his form remains good. Go ANB no boundaries just goals and run and support.

I am hoping you Inadvertently forgot Fritta our 40 plus leading goal kicker. If not then perhaps desist in naming BEST 23 fir finals. PS we omitted Fritta in 2018 fir the prelim and all know what happened then!!!
  17. But he hasn't really do don't hold your breath. You always want most players to have the ball as their object and get the umps verdict from the oppositions rough stuff!! Without just capitulating a show of strength is necessary but fine do it and others don't do well or not at all.

Arent you forgetting the BYE round in between?
  19. That's not certain snd if finishing higher will be given probably option of venues as in home and away. So we need to finish 1 or 2,to get that advantage of choice wherever. Also winning breeds confidence and self belief. Or haven't you played sport much over the journey.?

Billing's not an outside runner Where is that evidence? He hardly ever plays on the ball for Saints. Is a half forward who has underperformed IMO on theAFL stage. What memory Bllings leaves is a half forward marking 40m out and missing the goals. Is Not a Shea Bolton type player who is what we are talking about as an outside runner to give us complete chance of utilising our ruck and inside bulls class and dominance. Cerra would fit the bill nicely I MO as long as he hits thescoreboard. ( Probably wouldn't fit him in our salary cap unfortunately)

Why try inventing when we have already used JJ Harmes and Sparrow plus cameos from Kossie . Let the players shine in their best positions and when Jack returns the selectors will make their intents public.

Why ? they have had their figures publicised throughout this season in many forums and that figure absolutely reflects the truth. However I believe It resembles their over confidence ( maybe old arrogance) in their supporters expectations for 2021. I think whoever coaches them should expect genuinely to be above 9th no matter what in 2022.
  23. We all remember what happened the last time at Optus Stadium that Joel Smith was preferred in the backline to another player after very limited games in the AFL as preparation for that game! No visible improvement to any form at AFL standard since. Now as a forward it might be worth a gamble!!!
