CHANGES: GF vs Bulldogs
Hunty ???

PF: Melbourne vs Geelong
Give me Bowey for he is a better footballer than Hunty or Smith. Did well in the last 3 quarters in Qual Final and has played 5 good games. No need to drop him. Smith might just stay in for his size etc but Coaches value Hunty's run and carry,

Good luck but get your MFC ticket for Prelim if possible and await for advice re GF when and if available.

TICKETING: GF vs Bulldogs
Vics NSW and ACT are not likely to get SA access unless it's very "essential " but other states are treated fine generally.

PF: Melbourne vs Geelong
How exactly is Bowey vulnerable? Looked pretty free and calm and composed in the last quarter last week Good game overall started with a couple of errors. On day scale he could not be dropped or even thought of being dropped.

TICKETING: GF vs Bulldogs
Ring the MFC Membership Ph no and ask. During Office hours. You may have to wait a bit or sometimes it's quite quick. Good luck PS It might pay to read my previous post earlier on this page 4. Before you ring.

TICKETING: GF vs Bulldogs
I understand if you spend 14 days in SA and wish to go to WA you must apply to WA three days before for entry date. But getting into SA is the catch. Victorian's are basically refused entry now but other states eg Qld are ok for straight forward entry by permit to SA. And flights back from WA toQld are open as well. Check each states Covid travel restrictions and entry and permit plus QR code arrangements prior to applying so you understand each states arrangements. I have found contacting and speaking face to face over the phone is easiest and you can double check with any questions. Ringing in non peak times is advised to save waiting times. I have also checked my Grand Final Guarantee which is a No1 priority and is guaranteed. Category Priorities Nos 2,3 and 4 may be subject to a ballot. If in doubt call our Membership Department who don't have a lot of info but have advised twice of info in this paragraph. Just also check that they have you marked which Category. You are then advised of your opportunity to purchase your ticket if you are eligible.

History of the Melbourne Football Club
We are given choices in life and he missed out on 3 flags and a half decade of excellence because of a stubborn principle. What footy does he follow now?

Max Gawn’s goal - the commentary
Maxy deserves any awards and credits that come his way. Nothing too valuable for his reward for team and Club.

AFL TRADE NEWS AND RUMOURSÂ
Not enough work put into Locky Should be given greater opportunity and only need to pay about half for him vs Maynard!

I tipped this …
I am saying we were not POOR as much as you said and we set up some defence and learnings last season which have been extended this year in our plans and form. ie we weren't so poor as you said in 2020 in fact a good development year in prep for 2021.' Ph

Goal of the Year - Kysaiah "The Messiah" Pickett
Was nominated but so was Kossies vs Saints which we should support as superior by far Included getting ball then evasion through heavy traffic and pirroetting on non preferred foot to snap a Left foot blinder!

Goal of the Year - Kysaiah "The Messiah" Pickett
Doesnt stop you supporting Kossie for G of the Year!!! Love all our goals in the finals!!!

Will Nathan Jones get a farewell game?
Still as I posted earlier in this topic a short term and " Non Demon historical decision" for Roosy. one can argue that without Jim Stynes we would also be cooked. Our last flag is in the Barassi era snd our Glory Years and it's so Much more appropriate to link the presentation to our previous successful era. That's not to under state what PJ and Roosy did. That's exactly what we wanted ( Glen Bartlett also) and the AFL. If you are of a younger age CBF I understand that the Roos era is the most important along with Jimmy Stynes. BUT the Club has a glorious history ( albeit a long time ago) and every player and off field Board member and volunteer are deserving of thanks whether in say 1975 or say 2015!! A Club legend if possible RDB should be the appropriate person to hand the Cup over. Failing that the Wiz or even Glen Bartlett if in WA are 2 possibilities. in 2022 if we unfurl the glad it's then time for more recent "heroes" and older ones if failing to participate on Sept 2021 to be involved. Think RDB was chosen in 2000 but can't remember fully! David Neitz would also not be out of place in this role. Sadly I guess Neil Daniher is also out of the question! Quarsntining is going to make this a very hard choice if we have to make it.

I tipped this …
Poor enough last year to have 107% !! and more wins than losses. ONE bad game in 2020 vs port TWO others not great bs Dogs and Eagles TWO AFL and poor culture losses in CAIRNS Rest were wins by good margins and when our defence started to evolve we beat Saints and GWS. Looking back last 9 games were 6/3 so we started to launch part of our defence style and 2020 was not wasted PLUS games into Dogga Kossie Riv and Langers and Tommo.!! not so poor after all YB ???

Will Nathan Jones get a farewell game?
No in any context for our Club ( I love Roost's role etc) but the Cup handover is a traditional Club position and must be a famous and popular Demon from now or yesteryear. RDB would be No 1 at MCG but not possible in Perth probably Maybe a Zoom inclusion snd him saying he is handing it to say Wiz or If possible John Beckwith or a Glory Days multiple premiership player (John is still alive and well as far as I know) if he could get to Perth. Difficulty is the quarantining requirement of course. The Unfurling if the flag I 2022 would by default now be bigger as RDB etc SamStyenes could both Asher this along with Kate Roffey perhaps.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JAKE BOWEY
He is possibly going to replicate Joel Sellwood's career. Not necessarily as Captain Either Riv or Dogga could have that parcelled up for the 2027,s on !!!
-
Will Nathan Jones get a farewell game?
Good suggestion but RDB must be in a ceremony at some time of recognition officially also.

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
His season was as Predicted on his potential we nigh he has more than doubled with greater accuracy stronger body work and tackling and overall marking strength going up a couple of notches. Lets not underestimate the BBB Tmac Dogga and Maxy influence which makes it so much easier for Bailey to go freely at the ball for his marks and leads. If Bailey kicks 3/4 in the next 2 games he is very unlucky not to be AA.
