  1. This was Mick's big gamble and 5 th or 6 th shouldn't save him after 5 years of forward frustration.
  2. Same old forward entry and delivery Faults and goal kicking mistakes. Missing Petrevski after 2 games no scouters !!
  3. Sorry but with respect PF it's been Well publicised in photos and all over our website Plus D/L posts really pretty hard to ignore or miss.' Really bad Luck again for Aaron Hope he can recover and play again.
  4. Tommo or Petty needed at CHB so Lever can intercept Mark. Its no good naming a team now that cannot play Due to injury. With respect.
  5. Sloane is a She PF Your AFLW knowledge is a bit limited! Associated with Rory Sloane!
  6. Last two are running on thin ice with form and injury as 2 years of poor form plus newer replacements gather momentum to aid our rise up the ladder.
  7. I wore The No 31 on my first jumper Of the Demons At the moment I don't have a No on the one on a bust/lamp in my bedroom but Trac No 5 is preferred.
  8. That's my point P2J You said he hasn't trained and also that he shouldn't play BUT have changed your opinion and admit he has done some lone training plus SANFL. And Now admit you would want him in as a third string to our small forward bow vs Freo in Round1. At this stage I don't mind if Kossie does play but Viney Brayshaw Petty Hibberd and Melksham would appear to be short of real match practice so guess we really need to ensure we will have a pretty full list to play out a tough four quarters. If Kossie plays do you consider all of those players or are some fitter than others. Kossie hasn't been injured at least and is the fastest in our side I reckon. But as you said Spargs and Chandler are ahead of Kossie ( in fitness and exposed form ) and on balance deserve to be selected in Round1. Interesting Selection Dilemmas!! Not such a bad position to be in with many options which makes our AAMI Match vs Bulldogs VIP.
  9. Happy birthday Ron hope all is going well. Congratulations.
  10. DD Great call Clarry played his best IMPACT game IMO since 2018. Didn't make a mistake or fumble or ditch out a Hot potatoe handpass. The three things I loved among a great day at the office yesterday from him were: 1. Marking strongly on outer wing About 3 gems that ensured the ballot kept going in our direction late in the game. 2. That centre gather sidestep and handpass to Trac then regather AND LONG kick wind assisted GOAL had not one bit of selfishness about it being pure TEAM play. Ooze and Clarry take a bow! 3. His RUN out of DEFENCE in 3 Rd quarter was Breathtakingly fast enough to give opposition a wake up call he was serious about moving this ball forward to score when he kicked it Yo a teammate. This is the level he can go to just like Trac has done by valuing possessions.Gus needs to follow to fulfill his talent. Over to you Gus and Ooze.
  11. How about we give Joel Smith a go???He is a bit taller I think but that doesn't matter.
  12. P2J how do you know whether Kossie has trained or not yet in SA? I am not necessarily disagreeing with you but you just can't make open statements without proof. You should be saying most likely hasn't done a respectable enough block Of training required for a spot in the Round1 team. The other variant in this situation is the form of Spargs and Chandler. Any other AFL team to be selected in the last 2 years might have screamed for Kossie's inclusion but even our most churlish D/Lers would not want a well earnt spot by either player appear not so. Waiting like all Others fir your chance no matter how heartfelt the circumstances will not harm Kossie st this stage. As it happens we are small forwards/ wing/ half back or BP smothered at the moment with Bowey Laurie Bedford and even Locky in the wings waiting for that Round1 opportunity also. Unless of course you know more than us or you are just blindly posting an opinion piece to back up your wishes.
  13. Did any one else play on the Sub Cont at the time? If not then he is greatest at that time and it's ridiculous to say he isn't the GOAT given his Average is 40% ahead. You can make a decision on facts or ignore records at your peril and look as though you are too .Tied up to make a decision.
  14. I reckon if either Gawny Clarry or Trac were a Normie winner on Gf day with us winning the Flag that might separate them for the modern AFL era!!!
  15. You don't need that much extra staff because your ticket has all the Seat details on it and you are not supposed to wander around eating or socialising once you have got your food. There are a small no if Covid officials who politely ask you to go to your seats. I have seen this play out in Brisbane all last year at AFL and this year at the cricket. Yes if 50,000 are ticketed then more staff are needed but That would happen any way
  16. Harmes and Jones have failed on awing Baker is nit the full package and I suspect that Bowey or Laurie could be given an opportunity.
  17. Not bad but Bowey (I had earmarked Locky for this but who knows) Could replace Hunt in wing backline pocket or HB Rodman May develop hopefully into the other winger. Laurie shied enough yesterday that he isn't far off Seniors. Spargo instead of Melksham He and Chandler are going to fight for a spot IMO as is Kossie. Tommy Mac is still in the run for CHF will be better for the hitout etc. but it's a better team potentially than 2018.
  18. I would think that all the Coaches would know but Mums the word !! Very good Problem with pacy players Bowey Laurie Kossie Bedford and Rosman ( below par yesterday) That some could be in the team soon As well.
  19. Good points but Trac and Clarry are going to come hard in the next half decade if yesterday is any indication. If Clarry uses the ball as he did yesterday and comes out if defence as he did in the third quarter it's going to be hard splitting Trac and Jim for honours. Of course Maxy can simply say I made you guys I gave you an easy ride!! Yesterday showed we can get maximum use out of both now the next puZzle to solve is Jack snd his rugby style. will be interesting buckle in for the ride.
  20. Thanks for that See. All 3 were Confident team orientated and ready for the next step when needed.
  21. Thanks DW. Please enjoy your 30th Wedding celebration in Launceston this weekend.
  22. We hen you have all day to think about it our structure held up well save for some very average flying all together By the defence in the second quarter. Pretty good effort all round with us getting true value from Maxy a standout but Trac and Clarry were great users each time they got their hands on the ball. Defence was also solid with Maysie in 2020 form and Jake Looked like the2017 interceptor from Crows that we chased after. Forwards were honest and Hard working with Chandler a revelation being in the right place at the right time. Very promising season start with a genuine trade mark feel that the performance was built on a sound Football base.
  23. Can't deny facts BBP but there's no place like the G!!!
