  1. I cannot understand the complaints with the Membership Dept who I have had nothing but service and efficiency for years well before Covid. Never been majorly delayed even during finals time. You don't have to join up year after year as you can go on a rolling list automatically renewing at the end of the season in Oct/start Nov. Having said this there does seem to be a problem with Junior memberships administration from some of the posts. But really if you have 3 memberships snd you get the digital tickets each time just present from your phone and sort out at the end of the season!! The kids don't need to know as long as they get entry to the ground!
  2. Please BBP Nomore free advice please on crowds or ticketing
  3. Come on be real We are not suffering because of that 1992 result now!! That's ridiculous! in 2018 we lost at the Cattery after being 5 goals up at 3/4 time. We beat them in the Elim final about 5 weeks later!! You will have to come up with better than that !!
  4. That's completely different to their value for us though. DR D is underestimating Tommy who by the way seems best suited to the MCG these days!
  5. Sparrow should be given a go not Melky we need to look forward not backwards and youth is better than aging veterans.
  6. Agree Binman Skill and elite disposal still a big factor for finishing off our work .
  7. Hore not Jire sorry
  8. Travy Don't think Jire is the answer he is an interceptor like Jake and IMO can't play on big talls or smalls not quick or agile enough. Give Locky a go now he has his fitness and form back to mind the oppositions best small.
  9. Locky needs to be tried again after Goody completely stopped his progress last season. Is by far our best small defender and we need a smaller option to mind the pacey and quick Players in the AFL. An investment now will make for big dividends by Finals time in this position and also in one half forward flank spot I think is open or possibly up for grabs.
  10. DeeTox Locky has all the attributes of a back pocket and IMO should mind Weightman on Friday night. He was cruelly discarded about 2/3 of the way into 2020 by Goody. It seemed they any error he made was totally against his selection. Niw that he had be played a really good game ( and regained fitness) he should be given the chance instead of Lord Nev who is sadly not fast enough. If Goody had played Locky all year in 2020 he would have had another few games and be really ready for the AFL now. We need a smaller player with speed as all the mediums and talls flew last week and resulted in a goal out the back. Hibbo May get the call up for Bont minding but has he the full tank? We need to look at our list and not keep going back to Melky and Nev and give younger players a chance that will improve our speed and run! This will mean they are ready for Finals type pressure as injuries and form can dictate selection st any time. Give Locky a go and I was disappointed Chandler ( yes he was not great vs Blues ) but needed at least another match to be fair. We need to pick a running side because if we don't we will be too slow chasing the Dogs!!
  11. Enjoy the game and a start of a special relationship for a life time. Hope we win by 10 goals but play good footy like we have all year.
  12. It's the whole games effort that counts overall and picking and choosing quarters is not a criteria for selection. I thought given the conditions in the third quarter and his effort it was a lot better than BBB's. Weid took some field marks and was involved in general play that was successful. Admittedly he missed that sofa if a mark in the last but I wasn't one who was lashing him after the game. Marking out if 10 I would give him 5/6 snd BBB 2/3. No comparison IMO.
  13. It's called twilight and it means the time in between the day game and night game. Even Finals can be played in this time slot so you better be aware of this possibility.!
  14. The Richmond game was not a disaster we were within a goal or two until a Tiger 5 goal last quarter made the final result look that. we had held them to about 8/9 goals at 3/4 time and our defence ( which was under performing like the whole team vs Hawks ) stood up well. So then we played about a quarter and half of average footy vs Bombers at Marvel then Tommy Mac hit the scoreboard and we didn't look back on a 56 goal win. Eon every game by big margin till Pies gave us an outside running wake up call on QB. We started to realise then too many inside mids and bees around the honeypot and it's taken till this year to solve most of those issues.
  15. Make no difference to our playing sticks in 2021. Hard to justify even if comes back earl y August say and very difficult to place in our defence Petty better defender Marty not great on smalls IMO and is interceptor 3rd or 4th in line. Hope Marty does/can come back late in year and get 2/3 Casey games snd Finals there.
  16. Not on present form ( or since 2018 for that matter )
  17. Either of those Diggies would be fine and a lot cheaper than Cerra!!
  18. How much more room has Carlton got left in their salary cap? Perhaps theirs is not so soft!!!
  19. We don't have a real issue on the wing! Angus us quite capable of playing his role as he is now in a premiership team and can be moved into the midfield whenever required. Not saying Clark may not be a great pick up and I agree his pace and versatility is tempting. But I am not dropping Angus who offers a real support outlet in defence as well as can link up with the forwards and intercept stray kicks under pressure.
  20. The wing (Angus wing ) is not broke so don't try and fix it.
  21. Save the print . Ridiculous our best big Forward by far and he's now a wingman!!! There's a very good reason he's at CHF and that is his best position for our team by far. on the opposite wing Gus is providing a very good package of skills including great defensive backup and tough interception at times. If you think about this wing has not been a weakness snd if you place a good competitive footballer there you will generally revive a good/ great result. We don't have to rob Tommy to pay Angus. How long did Tommy actually train on the wing in pre season any way He started there but it's got him fit for better things like great forward line footy which oppositions are finding it hard to match up with him each week. And he plays the G so well !!!
  22. Yes it's like we have SIX new players inc. the 2019 Draftees Kossie Riv and Dogga all having their own influence on team development and results plus the new improved ANB Spargy and Hunt back from the forward line. In addition Lingers plus Tommo and the 2018 class of Jordan Sparrow Chandler and Petty have all made great strides in this last 12 months. AND nearly every one else is performing like an A grader Maxy Clarry Trac Maysie Jake L Tmac Fritta Jack V Hibbo Salo. The unknown potential of BBB and the Weid is so exciting the list is long and bats pretty deep. Jonesy Nev Locky Mitch Brown Majak Joel Smith plus Vanders can hardly get a look in but are there to fall back on like Bedford Bowey Laurie and Rodman are the future learning as they play each Casey game. No stone should be left unturned in 2021 which should give us perhaps our best chance in 57 years to end the Cursed drought. I personally think the Bulldogs are our biggest threat but perhaps a wet day would be suitable for us to shine.
  23. Why upset the wing (Angus) now just to move our best big forward out of the forward line How illogical to switch deck chairs when it's not necessary !
  24. Well put Ben E Angus just has to tidy up some disposal brain fades and he is a strength on the members side if the he ground. Love the way he supports the defence and he could do some elite passing to leading forwards to give us more shots on goal.
  25. No defender goal side is because we don't play a small defender who should wait down like the crumbers up forward. By the way the first Carlton goal Levet went up ridiculously to spoil was miles away from the bell snd of course Carlton waltzed in for a goal. Lever should have seen at least 4 fly for the ball and waited behind for the crumbs. But he normally is superb on his own marking in defence and intercepting,
