Farewell Luke Jackson
Well if you want a Blake acres instead have him he is an average but improving winger which would be superfluous on our list. Logue Has had injury issues in at least 2 seasons and IMO is a realistic player for because of his versatility for our Club. He is better performed than Sam Weideman IMO and it's a fact that KP players are slower to mature with their potential. Freo haven't got star players yet but most are improving so a Schultz or one of their quick half forwards might be potential but at least a top 1-8 pick should be traded as compo also. The AFL ratings are not the b end and all end of a players ability or value or potential. You might find Jacko is vastly underrated as well but considered a better player because of his potential by most footy judges.

Jordan De Goey
That's fine he doesnt have to meet your ex wife either she or him can stay away from social functions. She is not allowed to go to training (like you) and around Finals the Clubs are going to be in Covid style Hubs or bubbles. Jordan has smaller $$$ contract with performance bonuses!

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
MON I forgot about J. Smith and would also suggest also that Joel come back and be tried up forward as a roaming type. Be OK for after Bye break Round 23 and if we win and have break before Prelim. Give BBB limited time for Prelim and keep fresh for GF if possible.

Farewell Luke Jackson
WE dont need a wingman (Acres) but Griffin Logue is a valuable key position competitive and versatile footballer who is a very Melbourne type of player and young enough to improve (just like Jackson will). He could easile be a CHF FF or a key backman at FB or CHB.

2022 Injury List
No don't ???

Team first - for certain a goal
You can't be serious ? Didn't you love him after his great 6 goals effort in the GF? Well he has occasionally lost his judgement and team plays temporarily but that will stop hopefully now after about 4 bad examples. He is too smart a footballer to keep up this.

The Kalani White Thread
Good on Jeff for highlighting his son's credits and the teams he has been in. Perhdps a photo of the team instead could be another idea

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
To win the flag I think Petty should come back as CHF and Tommo keep his place at FB. On the other hand could Tommo bullock his way like Tmac snd create ball drops etc for the smalls up forward? Isn't as good a player as Tmac so let's give Petty a go at this stage. I also think Howes should be given 2/3 weeks to find form and look at him as an extra forward possibility for say HFF who can mark and move around. Yes is a gamble but worth looking at snd giving him a chance at this stage. Or maybe try Rivers up forward as he competes well.

Move on, Your Loss. Csn only be described as one if the worst decisions of all time. Biggest dummy spit from an adult (?) ever. There must be other reasons than this one you have provided. Giant loser of a lost cause.

Team first - for certain a goal
Better two leading than No one. So far your worry has occurred ONCE and Fritta's selfishness FOUR times and they are certain goals! In Your example a goal still had to be kicked correctly from 40/50 metres out. Yes our connecting is still a work in progress but great that Kossie stood up yesterday when it counted.

CHANGES: Rd 19 vs Western Bulldogs
JVR or it seems Laurie won't debut unless injuries or very poor form force Goody. What is more likely is that Bowey will return and might even be tried up forward. Chandler could be a medi sub or named on the bench as he deserves a chance. The time to try Laurie was against Port as he was In great form but Goody's conservatism shadows each selection. JVR is for 2023 I believe and will be a key in Casey winning a flag for us. Can't even predict Sam's next 2 months let's just say he could be any where between Hero and more likely Zero at Casey or on the G!!

POSTGAME : Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Would be better to give Petty a try up forward and leave Tommo in defence as he played well today. Jake May be out injured so English will present a problem also Bruce is back. Pressure on their mids is essential.

Wrong far too low. Remember a First around No3 Draft Pick who won the Rising Star and turned games in his first season inc. the Grand Final. Have you forgotten last year. Is a Premiership player and ability at his age is far in advance log other 20yo ruck recruits. Although he has not had quite the impact this year he has had a solid season and by his nature contributes to the team as a whole, Still the best 20 yo ruck now and potentially also forward. Deserve a Top 10 pick say 8-10 at least.as compensation plus a player Logue would be my choice for his versatility and key position attributes.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
"Bit of a nothing " time slot is the third BEST in the weekend!!! FTA on Ch 7. Not Sun or Sat 1.10 or 1.45 pm or tween twilight time or 5.20 Sun arvo. No Selection panel would make a call based on your reason of a telecast time slot. The game is between 2 teams still in contention and the third best of the round ahead of Dogs vs Saints really. But more will see it due to its Friday night exposure as the 2 godchild teams of Gill and AFL seam to be favoured for prime time exposure despite regular floggings.

Greg Stafford - Forward Coach?
You fail to mention that it blossomed BIG TIME in 2021 Finals snd delivered an historic flag! It still is a quirk that I have thought since Staf took over that a ruckman can coach forward line and take goal kicking practice without any apparent skills from his playing days. I think a new forward line coach is imperative unless we win the flag again! Having said all this he seems to get on with the players well.

Vale Noel McMahen
Sad to see one of our very best gone. But many memories of him as a true champion for our older fans. Saw the Cup triumph last year so fitting for him. Vale Noel McMahon

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
IN Dunstan, Laurie in, Tommo in and( Petty to CHF ) possibly Rivers to give run and drive off HBF. OUT Clarry inj Bedford omit manage (rest ) Bowey for a game to freshen up. Sparrow needs more time on ball. Need to try changes at this stage against Dogs and Power. Maybe run Salem on ball for few mins each quarter or get him up forward.

CHANGES: Rd 18 vs Port Adelaide
Not really only in bursts and when 9 and 12 play well they get or are involved in goals. Hunty is s nearly player and is very unlucky and probably should be our med sub.

Taylor Walker
Wrong If Tex doesn't play in the same style as Tmac I'll go he. He is a better lead than Tommy but competes and brings chances to other forwards through competitiveness and to himself via marking. To say he doesn't fit our game style is ridiculous as a style is developed to make the best use of the parts within. The prime reason this post is developing is our desire for our forward line to lead us to another flag and the debate is really going off with some holier than thou DLers showing their collective racist or social views dictating the discussion. We love Stephen May because he is our own and is a premiership player damn fine club man and if he was 5 years younger a walk up start for future Captain or VC but he has sinned twice at least and we have forgiven him. Reminds you of Tex a bit eh? For the possible improvement to our forward line the issue is whether you believe Tex can add 2/3 goals to the scoreboard each week without permanently or even remotely polarising the Players. The side issues I believe will with our culture be taken care of. PS I am not even a Tex fan but if he can better our Club let's believe in him. Tyson Stengel says Hi!

Farewell Luke Jackson
Agree with your Hogan comparisons regarding replacement players but now no Jesse is really hurting us ( when you think about it) as our forward line is our weakest link. ( not all the time however). Completely disagree with you about Jacko not being a competitive beast. You either haven't watched elite sports persons and/ or athletes or you completely misjudge the off field character of LJ and his on field determination. In fact if I were LJ I would be utterly devastated about your opinion. Name when he has not tried his best and to say he won't fulfill his potential because he can relax differently to other players is nonsense. We don't have to walk around for our whole career with a clenched fist and never smile to prove we are determined and using all our ability to be a winner on the field. Perhaps you were never around when Jim Stynes or Robbie Flower won our B and F or Hall of Fame recognition.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Why not get an "AFL" type ( ruckman) who us better than a VFL? We are in the Avenue of attraction for a Flag so don't hold back let's get the best available. Same as a KP forward, free agent if available then if not a recognised forward player from another AFL Club.
