  1. In positive news though I have just become a full member, hopefully the grand final access has not coincided with our window shutting!
  2. Wonder what needs to be done for a 10/10
  3. Confirmed Outs - Koltyn Tholstrup - Concussion 1 - 2 weeks Christian Salem - Hamstring 3 - 4 weeks
  4. I just did the autotipping on squiggle, top 7 was basically the same but just a minor difference of Port being in and Essendon out (which i much prefer tbh) 9th - Essendon 12 wins 1 Draw and 10-13 Melb, Gold, Hawks on 12 wins 13 - Collingwood I am sure the computer will change it mind each week though as this season been too hard to predict.
  5. Surprised people are calling for Chandler to be dropped. Our forward line wasn't the issue on the weekend and Chandler played a decent enough (not great) game. 2 Goals (=1st for Dees) , 5 Score Involvements (=2nd for Dees), 4 Tackles (=2nd for Dees), 3 tackles inside 50 (1st for Dees) 27 pressure acts (=3rd for Dees), 6th for our meters gained etc.
  6. Freo are everywhere, headcount please lol
  7. Not a fan tbh, but if the AFL could automatically install it for this season i may relax a little about our run home aha
  8. Cameron woweee - Banned for 4 (1+3) and both suspensions overturned. Should use the match fees from those games and put it down on the roulette table - Man has great luck
  9. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/bomber-best-and-fairest-peter-wright-could-be-dropped-20240716-p5ju8y.html Will any clubs ask the question? Could the dons be tempted?
  10. Curious what happens with Spargo, some have said he may want a fresh start elsewhere. Don't want to move any player on 2 games short of the Father/Son eligibility though aha
  11. I grew up in the 90s so I'm somewhat lacking in depth knowledge of his sporting career. I knew he played for the Dees and cricket for Australia but whenever I hear the name Max Walker all I can think about is Wired World of Sports II - which is probably a massive disservice to the big fella
  12. Didn't want to start a new thread so I thought id just bump this one after being inspired by the release of Geelong's annual retro kit for Retro Round. We haven't had a heritage/retro kit for a while. As a fan of nostalgia and throwbacks I'd love to see us do this, even if it it's not every year but every second year.
  13. To make it a little more interesting for Brisbane
  14. Always love your excel work @Lucifers Hero I did the squiggle ladder predicter a few weeks ago and it had us finishing 12th, now it has us finishing 8th. It has us losing to Freo, gold coast and Collingwood but beating GWS, Dogs, Port, Collingwood have a very tough run, would love to demolish them in the last round and secure finals for us and keep them out of the 8.
  15. Hopefully SG considers this when deciding who should be primary ruck
  16. Are the dogs trying to build the tallest list possible
  17. The timing of it all is unfortunate, i know a player may want to push surgery back etc. If the decision was made sooner might have been able to have another pick in the mid-season draft
  18. For me (aside from chips) it depends on the kick off and what i'm doing pre-game as to whether I will grab anything substantive at the game. Royal Stacks in the MCC not a bad option tho tbh.
  19. Is it true that this thread has sparked my interest?
  20. Any recruiting manager will have hits and misses. Taylor doing a good job at the moment, perhaps we hold him in slightly higher esteem due to the drafting which occurred before him.
  21. Just looking at that year, Stats as follows Ruck Contest/Hit outs R1 - 24/4 R2 - 20/2 R3 - 14/5 R4 - 23/6 R5 - 14/6 R6 - 19/7 R7 - 13/1 R8 - 47/4 R9 - 10/1 R10 - 17/3 R11 - 15/2 R12 - 16/5 R13 - 13/2 R14 - BYE R15 - 17/4 R16 - 16/1 R17 - 16/4 R18 - 0/0 R19 - 0/0 R20 - 0/0 R21 - 0/0 R22 - 0/0 R23 - 0/0 FW1 - Did not Play SF - 12/0 PF - 22/1 GF - 11/0 So Total of 339/58. Whoever we put up is going to have a difficult evening though.
  22. Coaches vote - good to see the young brigade represented Melbourne v West Coast 10 Trent Rivers (MELB) 7 Jacob Van Rooyen (MELB) 7 Caleb Windsor (MELB) 2 Ed Langdon (MELB) 2 Judd McVee (MELB) 1 Kysaiah Pickett (MELB) 1 Tom McDonald (MELB)
  23. I went up a few years ago, didnt sit with the cheer squad cos had some Queenslanders with me. Small stadium so most seats are pretty good IMO
  24. He also gets in a lot of good goal scoring positions but is burnt a bunch too.
