Christian Petracca hairline fracture.
How easy is it to target the fibula though? If the club are happy letting him play soccer (lots of shin on shin impact) with no shinpads then they must not be too worried about it.

CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
Prelim being a pass about right, especially given how equal the comp is this year/the fact we have a horrible record against the top 4 and had some forward-line issues at stages this season. That being said, anything can happen in finals footy, need everyone to stand up and we can still cause some damage. Either way 2023 will be exciting - have some time to rectify some forward line issues (fit again TMAC, young JvR debuting, maybe another forward brought in) and we should be ready go give it another shot.

a jigsaw puzzle completed by having all the right pieces (at the time). Sliding doors we'll never know but can't begrudge any move that helped us break the drought.

CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
Oh totally, understand a player will do/say what he can to play a final, weigh up risk vs reward. I'm no medical practitioner but from what i've heard seeing its a non-weight bearing bone it should be ok for him to play (Pending recovery from other issues and assessment of pain) But i am sure there are other medical opinions that may differ, so who knows aha

CHANGES: SF vs Brisbane
At least the debate over Petracca will stop/delay the media from re-igniting Zorko-gate. If the medical staff are happy with Trac playing - then so am i. Melk played well towards the end of the season, but think he may have run out of credits in the bank. Really uncertain who they'll bring in though.

2022 Finals Tickets
Yeh I got seats level 1 in row CC. Found it interesting for Melb v Brisbane you could buy 2 Visitor tickets but for Collingwood vs Freo you could buy 4. I know there are less Freo fans about but would have thought the number of Collingwood fans would have equalized that out a bit

Retro Dees Jacket
Ebay/facebook market place your best bet for original stuff. I have a friend who buys retro stuff online and then flips at higher price. He told me the price of Melbourne stuff has jumped quite a bit since we started 2021 off well.

Tom Phillips - Outside Skills and Speed
So we missed out on Phillips and he's being delisted and now the hawks are bringing in Amon who we also missed out on. Wonder if this trend will continue

The Soccer thread
The Gerrard v Lampard debate continues in another form. Both will be lucky to see out the season. Although Everton have made some reasonable signings since the start of the season (Onana, Coady, Garner, Gueye, Maupay) so we'll see what happens with Frank

CHANGES: QF vs Sydney
Absolutely rotten luck for JJ.

The Soccer thread
On further reflection, extremely harsh given he was 1-3 in the league with losses against Arsenal, Man City, LFC. Viscous game, especially when Gerrard/Lampard are stinking out their posts too.

The Soccer thread
Scott Parker sacked, given they were one of the favorites to go down it's a little knee-jerk but need to react after a 9-0 loss I guess.
-
Tom McDonald
Depends what how some of the other lads are trending. If we're carrying a lot of sore players bringing in an undercooked player a bigger risk. Wouldn't bring him in this week.

AFLW: Rd 2 Clash Moved to MCG Curtain Raiser
Won't get out of work until 5:30/6 or so, sadly not sure how much I will be able to see. Hopefully they get some good support. Would like to watch West firsthand, her trajectory continues to skyrocket.

2022 Finals Tickets
I am simply going to stand by myself behind the seats on level 1. Usually I just rock up without reserving a seat but this is a final and I was concerned it may reach capacity.
