Low Attendance
Never said it was my idea @58er, I like the length of the game and don't want them shortened but I understand that the AFL will be looking at ways to grow the game/increase attendance and will consider the viewpoints of many different types of fans (including potential fans). When I flew up to Queensland for the Gold Coast game this year I invited some friends of mine who live in Queensland but hadn't been to a game before. They felt it was a long event and from other conversations I've had with people it's a common thought for non-fans/those with fleeting interest. Anyway, everyone is welcome at my next Birthday party, will DM you the information next year, usually tie it in with a Dees game as well.

Low Attendance
I took a few non-afl pals to a game, think for non-fans it may be too long. All depends who the AFL are trying to please

2022 Injury List
We have 16 players over 190cm, 6 of which are injured atm - Perfect time to be playing the Brisbane Behemoths

Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
We had a relatively soft start to the year opponent wise (for the most), we didn't really put the sword through any team, just did a professional job and did what was required for the win. If that is is on purpose, would be curious how easy it would be to turn the switch back on pressure wise/being relentless for longer periods etc.

Low Attendance
Only insanity I had on the weekend was a Pies supporter near me who wouldn't stop yelling BALL, did my head in aha

Making our 5th world cup in a row is a fantastic effort, always good to get an invite to the party. But it does hide some issues relating to results and warranted criticism of the coaching decisions and overall developmental issues in Australia, but that's a debate for another day. We can enjoy today's result for a bit first, even though my productivity at work will be low aha

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Averaging 57.7 points a game last 3 weeks. To think I had a Bet on BBB winning the Coleman aha

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
that became a game of kick to kick with Brayshaw just mopping up the other end.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Last few weeks we have not stopped kicking it to opposition defenders. Kicking ourselves out of games. Fix that and with May back we'll be looking better. Also think Tomlinson a better option for medi-sub for his versatility more so than consistently picking small forwards. I know his form wasn't great last week but other options a little limiting.

Tasmanian AFL Team
Seeing this brought up a few places, but what exactly is wrong with the current stadiums down there?

Steven May Suspended by the Club
Still slightly concerned there have been a few well publicized fights after games between fans and the AFL may come down hard on these 2 as an example to make it look like they're strong on violence.

TEAMS: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
I like Hunt, last few weeks have been a bit poor but he's not alone there. Couple of brain-fades last week seemingly cost him. Think he is still capable of playing good footy when everyone fit and firing, just last few weeks the backline been impacted by injuries and Lever being a bit out of sort.

Steven May Suspended by the Club
What can the AFL do here, is it just a fine or a ban likely? Would hate to lose him for the Brisbane game

Petty in the wars - does he get a week off with Turner going in?- Steven May Suspended by the Club
Just one normal day supporting this club plz.- The Soccer thread
Tough days @layzie, i spoke to a LFC fan of mine about going to watch it at the Impy and he joked that he'd need to get there 2 days earlier to get a good spot. Enjoy an occasional game at the Charles Dickens but watch most games on the couch these days. Haven't watched a game at Fed Square since the Croatia game at the 2006 World Cup, was a long evening on the sauce and I was wrongfully punched in the head earlier in the night but didn't care as we advanced to the next round.- Poll - Demonland Demographics
Another late 30s here, our age bracket loves/loved a forum, spent far too many hours on the Big Day Out Forum back in the day.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Yep as critical as we like to be about ourselves the Swans were beast like, constant pressure, tackles and covered an additional 10km distance during the game compared to us- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Sydney
Whilst people are talking about umpires, I’ve not seen a replay, but at the time thought Swans were incredibly lucky late in the 3rd quarter to not give away a 50m penalty when ANB was caught high and late, would have been an important goal. Oh well.- CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
He still got around the ground a little bit this week but unfortunately a few times got in the way. I'm not against him going down to work on a few things but no one really has their hand up for that spot and we have the bye coming up, may as well keep him in the game for Collingwood (at least) IMO- CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Last 4 games he's totaled 20 disposals, across his career averages 10 a game, so he's not getting the ball as much or at least holding onto marks. If he goes to the 2s and then comes back would the same issues be there? He's clearly out of form like you said and the forward line (and f50 entry) is a bit dysfunctional atm and Tmac may be cooked for a bit. If BBB goes to the 2s he may kick a bag of goals, he may not. M Brown and Weid have kicked a bunch for Casey this year and then not really imposed themselves when getting into the seniors. That is the concern I have about dropping B.Brown, as it involves a larger team based issue as well. Can we afford to keep him in the team whilst trying to rectify some teamplay and get him into better form? I'm still on the fence. - The Soccer thread
