CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Excellent news, with Geelong light on defenders - makes me wonder if we'll go tall with Out: M Brown, T. Bedford In: Gawn, Jackson One for the selection committee Bedford would be unlucky, but he also had a tremendous miss on the weekend that still baffles me.

Is our offense a problem?
Whilst I do have concerns about our forward structure - one positive about it is we are a bit like a Hydra - have many heads, cut one off and it wont necessarily kill us.

Training Ground?
Drove by this evening on my way home from work tonight and our AFLW team were training on it.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND: DANIEL TURNER
Liked what I saw on Debut. Curious where he sits on the pecking order when everyone is fit, looks to have a good future.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Thought Hib was the worst of the lot watching on tv. Brown seemingly got a knock early but came back on etc

TEAMS: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
a little rough, think we had enough options but maybe not enough specialists? Just unfortunate that the injuries were clumped together. M Brown/Tomlinson only being considered as Gawn/Jackson/Daw/Tmac are out injured.

2022 List and Contract Details
I do wonder if Chandler will think about a move. Toby has grasped his chances in the seniors better than Kade has, both good depth just curious how patient he is

MCC GF ballot
Imagine they will return to the ballot system, what is it 13,000 seated and then another 10,000 or so walk up? I'm still a Restricted MCC Member so I'd have a very low chance of attending the GF in the reserve. Especially as there are so many MFC fans in the MCC Had to buy the MFC/MCC Premium package and then the GFG on top of that. Hopefully will be a full mcc member whilst we are still in the window aha

The Soccer thread
Optus just added La Liga to their package, which makes Optus sport that little bit more appealing, whilst also making KAYO that little bit more unappealing as a year long option.

Ruck stocks 2023
They talked about Hayes on SEN recently https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/06/21/the-young-ruckman-whose-future-may-sit-at-another-club/ But would he want "In case of emergency break" status?

Farewell Luke Jackson
Must be a very long straight.

Farewell Luke Jackson
This is how I see it too, same with Gus. Would like them both to stay though. It seems Lachie Neale is going to sign ax extension with the Lions. Maybe freo want to use the money elsewhere?

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
Was happy with an improved performance from BBB but still room for improvement. Hopefully kick starting this week against the Crows.

NON-MFC: Round 15, 2022
Dangerfield got 3 weeks last year for his bump, this seemed worse, would be very surprised if it’s less than 4

The Run Home
One of my mates is a Lions man and If there was a "what are they saying in the Group Chat" thread we'd have the following; On having Talls "Flip side is our complete lack of speed" On opposition small forwards 'Def our weakness'

Training Ground?

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Adelaide
yep, forward line had a nice balance last night, was good to see the small forwards dancing around the slow Brisbane backline.

Farewell Luke Jackson
https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/06/21/the-young-ruckman-whose-future-may-sit-at-another-club/ With Port Adelaide opting to play Jeremy Finlayson in the ruck, what does the future hold for Sam Hayes? The 23-year-old ruckman played seven games this year in the absence of Scott Lycett, but has been omitted in favour of makeshift options. Clubs like Geelong, GWS and Melbourne would likely inquire about adding to their ruck depth, while teams like Hawthorn, Carlton and Sydney have been stretched at the position this season.

The Soccer thread
I'm a Optus mobile guy so will pay the $7 a month, annoying but it's a good product and free for a while. At the end of the day I like all the options which you don't get on Kayo/Paramount etc. But fully understand that increasing your price after losing content and during a "cost of living crisis' is a bold move aha. I've decided to drop ESPN. Still annoyed that they grabbed the Hockey, the official NHL streaming service was mad but then was made not available to Aus, found the ESPN app far too buggy and not as good quality.

Low Attendance
Never said it was my idea @58er, I like the length of the game and don't want them shortened but I understand that the AFL will be looking at ways to grow the game/increase attendance and will consider the viewpoints of many different types of fans (including potential fans). When I flew up to Queensland for the Gold Coast game this year I invited some friends of mine who live in Queensland but hadn't been to a game before. They felt it was a long event and from other conversations I've had with people it's a common thought for non-fans/those with fleeting interest. Anyway, everyone is welcome at my next Birthday party, will DM you the information next year, usually tie it in with a Dees game as well.

Low Attendance
I took a few non-afl pals to a game, think for non-fans it may be too long. All depends who the AFL are trying to please

2022 Injury List
We have 16 players over 190cm, 6 of which are injured atm - Perfect time to be playing the Brisbane Behemoths

Farewell Luke Jackson
Potentially Gus and LJ? Would be extremely rude aha
