Next Generation Academy
Aside from some clubs having their eyes on young players, perhaps some clubs are spooked about draft implications if Tassie jump on board.

Membership Tally 2023
Yeh it's understandable clubs want to fluff the number. The funny part to me is people still use it as a metric in relation to attendance at games knowing full well the numbers aren't really legit.

Membership Tally 2023
I am counted 3 times in our membership tally. 1. MFC/MCC Dual Membership which gives me a GA Membership 2. MFC/MCC Dual Membership which gives me a a Junior Membership (I give the pack to a friend's daughter but they don't go to games). 3. MFC KAYO Digital Membership which includes Armchair Membership. Got to love some number inflation.

The 3 best & worst off-field things associated with football
Best 1. The Happy Walk home from the G after a Win 2. Final Siren in a close win 3. The banter in the group message (could go in either category tbh aha) Worst 1. Collingwood Fans 2. Carlton Fans 3. Essendon Fans Nah replace the last 2 with the price of Cider at the MCG and the sad walk home from a loss being chirped at by Randoms
- What’s your Round 1 plans?

I think that was part of United's undoing other night, especially against a high octane team! Injuries and some potatoes have reduced rotation for MUFC, they've played 22 games since the WC break, that's a game every 3.3 days and still in FA Cup/Europa etc.

The funniest thing about that 7-1 game was that Brazil had more shots than Germany. Liverpool had 8 shots on target and 7 went in, sometimes the gods are just against you.

Best Value Way to Watch the Footy...?
That Melbourne Kayo deal is outstanding value if you usually have Kayo for the year. Probably aimed at people who cancel during the footy off-season. I'll be saving $131 by signing up to this as opposed to year long Kayo sub, and i get a 40% voucher for the demonshop - the perfect place to spend the money i've saved aha.

TRAINING: Wednesday 22nd February 2023
Managing injuries an interesting one, reminds me of Ledley King who used to play for Tottenham, a real talented centre-back but real injury prone. Barely trained during the week but one of the first names on the team sheet for the weekend. Hopefully BBB is better managed this year, perfect opportunity to rotate with the emerging JvR

Huge few days for United, chance of knocking out Barcelona and progressing, chance of winning some silverware - alternatively the universe could be evil and they lose both on penalties.

Daisy Pearce calls time on a stellar career
What a champion of our club, so glad she got to win a flag with us. Hopefully she doesn't spend too long at Geelong!

Doesn't help youve spent 150m on forwards in the last 2 windows and haven't signed a robust midfielder to protect the back line. Apart from Caicado, Manuel Ugarte a young Uruguayan DM at Sporting Lisbon is what you need.

Our interesting mix of talls for 2023

The 2022 World Cup
went up to Sydney for the Uruguay game, forever one of the greatest moments of my life.

The 2022 World Cup
94 my earliest but more moments than in detail as I was in Primary School. 2006 wasn't our fault. the final was on a Saturday (early Sunday Morning). Was in my more social days so I had been out drinking and came home for the match, I did indeed pass out during the match. But back then you could get Spirits at clubs extremely cheap so not entirely my fault (It was entirely my fault).
