I was struggling to find a reason, like most on here, why Gutnick would approach Green, and why Green might meet with him, Elwood. I mean, as far as i know, Gutnick hasn’t approached any other president to give advice to. So why Green? I simply asked the question to see if there was maybe a “faith” link. Certainly nothing sinister in my mind. I’m sorry if my question offended you.

I heard his Nona gave him a recipe for Humble Pie - but Tracc doesn’t like the taste.

No shiiit Sherlock.

OMG! They are identical!

If the players association involvement leads to an outcome where player safety procedure is improved then I am all for it - and I’m sure this is their aim, rather than having a pot shot at the MFC, as a number on here seem to believe.

Season 2024 Over for Clayton Oliver

Ok then, Doesn’t someone have to “win it (the ball) at the turnover” before you can then “move the ball”? -
Nobody is interested because there is nothing yet to get interested in. You may still be correct though, but until a formal proposal and funding application goes before the Govt, I can guarantee you that nobody will be interested in the MFC.

Why would anyone offer us funding now if we haven’t got a formal proposal, let alone without actually appling for funding?

Haha, I think the dress code would be the last concern they’d have! But it would sure be a hoot if you could pull it off - er, so to speak.

Clarry has stated he won’t leave - but only because @WalkingCivilWar won’t leave and go with him. -
Riv for captain 2026 or 2027

Are you Pert’s uncle?

I think you’d better have another look at the players you did name. You cannot possibly know if they are scallywags or not. And whether you admit it or not, a number on your first list have certainly dropped their playing standards since ‘21. Hence we are not playing finals.

Thanks Jaded. With Gus gone, Riv is now my fav player.

You might want to hold your powder dry about “scallywags” until certain investigations are completed.

The Club needs to ask Tracc one simple question: “Baring injury, can you right now, put your hand on your heart and commit to the Dees for a minimum of 3 years?”. If he can’t, or he hesitates at all, I don’t care how good a player he was, get rid of him, now. If he cannot commit, there will be no player trust. If no player trust, then I think he’ll be a cancer within the team this year. Brand Tracc is [censored] as far as I am concerned, and he’s done it to himself.

I think the point of the article was clearly to show that Tracc shot himself in the foot, not to protect his management team. Time to take your rose coloured glasses off Binny.

Perhaps that is why this topic is a “Wishlist”.

Yes. A club at Milsons Point.

Thanks, it just seemed 2 years ago. We lost to Geelong that night if I remember correctly

It is incomprehensible that Roffey hasn’t spoken to Tracc or his family - so much so that I wonder if she is telling porkies here. Saying she hadn’t means she is not in a position to answer questions about Tracc. Maybe, like everyone else in the club, she doesn’t want to make public statements about Tracc. It is also conceivable that Tracc has problems with Roffey, so no way would she want to publicly comment on that. Either way, she is not the leader we need right now. She should acknowledge this and fall on her sword, now. If she were to resign, it could well be the trigger / face-saving out that allows Tracc to come back into the fold.

I thought he was poorly treated by MFC. He may not have been a world beater, but the form he showed in ‘21 he at least deserved respect. He certainly didn’t have that from the President. At a NSWDemons event some 2 years ago, where Roffey was a guest speaker, she stated that “you don’t win finals with players like Tomlinson, he won’t be picked”. Not Roffey’s finest moment, and makes you wonder what else she may have said on other occasions to the demon faithful.
