Haha You are not spreading unsubstantiated rumours are you Andy?

Haha - The name puttanesca is derived from the Italian word for “prostitute,” puttana. The dish was originally created as a quick and easy meal for the working women of Naples,

Problem is 3183, it will be at least 18 years before we get our hands on him! (sorry Binny, didn’t see your post.) -
Are you left handed Timothy? Haha Might explain a lot

There would be very, very few posters on here that are not passionate Dee’s supporters. Surely that’s unification. However all of us have different opinions at times, and certainly different ways of expressing ourselves, which is to be expected, and it is what I enjoy about this site. This does not reflect disunity. As long as the banter is respectful (which at times it isn’t) then go for it I say.

Nas, do you think he might be a "whipping boy" because all the others you mentioned - except Windsor - have proven themselves at AFL level, whereas Laurie, after 3 full seasons with the club - and a first round pick to boot - simply hasn't?

Petracca: "When the pressure mounted... we crumbled"

I tend to agree Chook, but just wish we had better skills to go with, and take proper advantage of that instinct. -
@binman: "Some take aways: I suspect they are in a heavy training phase. Cooked after the first 20 min untill half time. First 15 mins of third up and about after a break. Then cooked again" haha have you started to raise "loading" again already Binny? We haven't even reached Round Zero yet!

The conclusion being that we cannot afford to [censored] up the initial fast forward entry, so it doesn't come back out just as quickly. Better skills and forward craft needed.

You do know Gus didn’t play don’t you? Still, I didn’t see him get one possession.

Hore maybe?

I don’t think the score line matters (except the “apprentice” would be within his rights to gloat a bit to the “Master”). What does matter if anyone here was able to pick out how we overcame the issues we had last year - which any good coach would be aiming to fix, surely. Forward entry / connection? - anyone notice any changes or improvements? Ball handling and kicking skills? - improvement? Center connection and clearances? - again, improvements? I didn’t see all of the match, but from what I did see, I couldn’t recognise any real improvements or system changes at all. So please convince me we did! Otherwise, given the way I saw the tigers play, I might wish that we had hung onto the “apprentice” - who, given time, might well become the “Master”.

FFS, perhaps we should have also gotten rid of Gawn after his third knee op. His body was obviously not up to it either.

Maybe it's more than just fitness that might keep Clarry away from the ones.

It would be nice if the Club would!

I was hoping Hore would fill Hibberd's role.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Saturday 17th February 2024

Thanks for turning up and reporting @WERRIDEE and @Jontee and @kev martin. Much appreciated. -
Respect your opinion, but sorry, I just don’t agree with it. You say we were mugs to not take Adelaide’s offer. To me that immediately casts doubt on the sensibilities of our Trading Team - and based on past years of performance, that would be totally out of character. Besides, I don’t remember what they were offering us in return! That also assumes that Petty, although somewhat injury prone now, won’t ever come good. Take the example of Joel Smith. He had 5 or 6(?) years where his body, and circumstance, let him down. But he finally got his body right and he was worth the wait (before he shot himself in the foot). Petty is a far better footballer than Smith IMV, and as such, the Club are more likely to work with him till he gets his body right, just as they did with Smith. He’s a keeper for mine - unless he wants to head back to SA at some stage.

You never get sick of that footage do you! Thanks Six6Six.
