  1. I heard his Nona gave him a recipe for Humble Pie - but Tracc doesn’t like the taste.
  2. No shiiit Sherlock.
  3. OMG! They are identical!
  4. If the players association involvement leads to an outcome where player safety procedure is improved then I am all for it - and I’m sure this is their aim, rather than having a pot shot at the MFC, as a number on here seem to believe.
  5. Ok then, Doesn’t someone have to “win it (the ball) at the turnover” before you can then “move the ball”?
  6. Nobody is interested because there is nothing yet to get interested in. You may still be correct though, but until a formal proposal and funding application goes before the Govt, I can guarantee you that nobody will be interested in the MFC.
  7. Doesn’t someone have to “win it (the ball) at the source” before you can then “move the ball”?
  8. Why would anyone offer us funding now if we haven’t got a formal proposal, let alone without actually appling for funding?
  9. Haha, I think the dress code would be the last concern they’d have! But it would sure be a hoot if you could pull it off - er, so to speak.
  10. Clarry has stated he won’t leave - but only because @WalkingCivilWar won’t leave and go with him.
  11. Riv for captain 2026 or 2027
  12. Are you Pert’s uncle?
  13. I think you’d better have another look at the players you did name. You cannot possibly know if they are scallywags or not. And whether you admit it or not, a number on your first list have certainly dropped their playing standards since ‘21. Hence we are not playing finals.
  14. Thanks Jaded. With Gus gone, Riv is now my fav player.
  15. You might want to hold your powder dry about “scallywags” until certain investigations are completed.
  16. The Club needs to ask Tracc one simple question: “Baring injury, can you right now, put your hand on your heart and commit to the Dees for a minimum of 3 years?”. If he can’t, or he hesitates at all, I don’t care how good a player he was, get rid of him, now. If he cannot commit, there will be no player trust. If no player trust, then I think he’ll be a cancer within the team this year. Brand Tracc is [censored] as far as I am concerned, and he’s done it to himself.
  17. I think the point of the article was clearly to show that Tracc shot himself in the foot, not to protect his management team. Time to take your rose coloured glasses off Binny.
  18. Perhaps that is why this topic is a “Wishlist”.
  19. Yes. A club at Milsons Point.
  20. Thanks, it just seemed 2 years ago. We lost to Geelong that night if I remember correctly
  21. It is incomprehensible that Roffey hasn’t spoken to Tracc or his family - so much so that I wonder if she is telling porkies here. Saying she hadn’t means she is not in a position to answer questions about Tracc. Maybe, like everyone else in the club, she doesn’t want to make public statements about Tracc. It is also conceivable that Tracc has problems with Roffey, so no way would she want to publicly comment on that. Either way, she is not the leader we need right now. She should acknowledge this and fall on her sword, now. If she were to resign, it could well be the trigger / face-saving out that allows Tracc to come back into the fold.
  22. I thought he was poorly treated by MFC. He may not have been a world beater, but the form he showed in ‘21 he at least deserved respect. He certainly didn’t have that from the President. At a NSWDemons event some 2 years ago, where Roffey was a guest speaker, she stated that “you don’t win finals with players like Tomlinson, he won’t be picked”. Not Roffey’s finest moment, and makes you wonder what else she may have said on other occasions to the demon faithful.
  23. Daz, @WalkingCivilWar has kept a pretty low profile for a very long time on her “lack of fondness” for Tracc. There have been hints here and there, but certainly no blatant knocks on the boy, for as we are all aware, WCW does not abide by the dumping on our players. Yet on 18th Aug, she wrote a post in response to someone else, where she hinted more strongly than I’ve seen before of her “lack of fondness “ for Tracc. It initially took me by surprise and I responded with the following to ensure I had interpreted correctly: “Thank you for your comments on Clarrie. That is very reassuring. As for Tracc, without actually saying it, you painted a very unflattering picture of him - which I’m sure was your real intent. It seems that the ego-maniac kid that first arrived at the club perhaps hasn’t really changed, only disguised that trait. I also infer that perhaps Tracc has been less than accepting of Clarrie’s transgressions, and that Batman and Robyn are no longer the dynamic duo. If the divide at the club actually stems from all of this, then I hope we give Tracc similar orders that we gave Clarrie - shape up or ship out”. So I think you are being a bit hard when you say that she has “quickly turned on a player”, she’s felt that way for a long time. I also think that her posts were not “critical of people on here for suggesting he leaves”, as you claim, rather I read them as saying that it was only media chat, and that neither the Club nor Tracc had, at that stage, come out and said he was leaving, so don’t take it as gospel yet. Anyway, it’s a very sad state of affairs and something our Club doesn’t need and really doesn’t deserve. Hope for the best but plan for the worst.
