So, will this then mean that we will not have a look at Leek Aleer?

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Is he of interest to us? Is Aleer the Mac Andrew we never had? Clarry = Aleer?

Sam Flanders
I found the reason Flanders inferred as to why he chose the Saints interesting: He said that because Wanganeen-Milera re-signed, he believed that they were going to build something special from here on in. It therefore could be implied that because we were looking to trade Trac and Oliver, we likely would be starting from scratch - therefore Dees were not a choice.

News Flash! Tim Lamb has been subbed out of the BH negotiations! and Very Jaded is set to take his place.- Bailey Humphrey
I have many, many humpback whales travelling past my place at the moment - fantastic to watch - so luving the Hump nickname DubDee- Farewell Christian Petracca
I wasn't responding to you Adam. I was responding to @Random Task by asking a simple question - as I have no idea on Rogers. But you didn't answer my question anyway.- Farewell Christian Petracca
Please tell me why Rogers will be a good get? I don't know him from a bar of soap, but he averages 7.2 disposals a game playing a role similar to Spargo i believe. Spargo averaged 11.2 disposals a game and we on DL canned him for not getting the ball enough. So honest question - why would he be a good get?- Bailey Humphrey
"Very Jaded" now? haha you are suffering. This club of our has a lot to answer for. As supporters, can we sue them for our MH issues?- Farewell Christian Petracca
Tracc, as a player, is now damaged goods. Any time he has the ball, he is afraid of getting crunched, hence the very rushed kicking, hence the poor results. He pulls out of contests for the same reason. He is not a shadow of the player he was or could still be. That is a mental condition that only Trac, with professional help, can fix. Because of the lingering aftermath of the Moore incident, I cannot be too harsh on Trac for this. But, I just cannot warm to him as a person or player at all - even when he was running on 12 cylinders. However, my opinion of him is not important. What is important is how on earth do we dress up mutton to appear as prime lamb to get the best return we can?- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Sorry wrong thread- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Let’s not get too carried away by that “they are better than Melbourne” swipe. In its literal sense - and I’m sure that’s how he answered it- he is correct. The Pies are a better side than the Dees for the past few years. No arguments there. One day Clarry might suddenly wake up to the fact that he is the sole reason he is being let go - his behaviour and now being somewhat of a dinosaur in the modern game. I doubt he has yet, but I live in hope that one day he will.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
so it could be BS - and yet its talked about as fact on here. Haha Typical DL.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Again I will ask, who from the club said we'd be prepared to pay half his salary? It keeps getting stated on here, but has the Club actually said this?- Training Ground?
Don't do it! @Ghostwriter won't be able to make the training sessions - so no more reports, or gossip.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Who from the club has said that we will pay $700K to take Clarry?- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Daz, if you look at it from Oliver’s perspective,, both scenarios have the same outcome in his eyes -“they want me out of the club”. In both cases the decision is his because he is under contract. So he may come home, like last year, or he may leave. So I still stand by my original statement.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
Which end of the ostrich am I Daz? Look I’ve been, openly on DL, more critical of Oliver over the past two years than most. I think we have been too easy on him. I believe Goody should have given him a measure of tough love - and given his past MH issues and his relationship with Goody this could only have come from Goody. Instead it appears from the outside that Goody didn’t do that, he mothered him instead. So I’m agreeing with your thoughts. So new coach, new approach. And I’d be 100% certain that whatever message was delivered to Clarry was totally respectful of his MH issues. What I said in my previous post was last year, at the hint he was being traded, he set up a meeting with the cats. But he ended up coming home. Kind of similar situation this year, where he may end up coming home again. Who knows? That’s why I suggested we shouldn’t read too much into one picture. Ive had people try and entice we away from my then employer - and it’s fun to hear what they had to say and offer. Doesn’t mean I was going to leave - and I didn’t. He may well leave Daz, and best wishes if he does, but that photo isn’t enough for me to say - as you did - he won’t accept what King was suggesting and will leave.- Farewell Clayton Oliver
I’m sure he looked just as happy at the Geelong farm last year Daz. He probably just enjoys the company and the break from football. I think you maybe reading too much into this.- Nuggets' Music Videos
I'd forgotten about this site for far too long. About 20 years ago a went through a phase of writing song lyrics, but not having a musical bone in my body, nothing ever happened with them. I thought a lot of them were good but couldn't do anything with them. Then a few weeks ago a friend told me about an AI app where you are able to insert your lyrics, add a few instructions on style etc, and in no time it spits out a completed song for you. If you don't like it, you change the inputs until you do. So I sent him one of my lyrics and he sent me back the completed song. Magic! I'll attach it if you are interested in listening. I'll add another small one in if it can fit. The first song is called Oil; and the second Just as the Sun. My son has his own band and i mentioned it to him. His response, as a musician, was that he sees it as cheating. But he said for the musically challenged (think me) it's a godsend. Anyway, I ended up getting the app and have spent many hours "creating" songs from my lyrics. I found a few of the lyrics didn't make it to the "best of" collection, but i did end up with about a dozen that I'm really happy with. What was interesting to me (again as a non-musician) was how the format of the lyrics fit different styles of music. So i have some where the same song is in two different formats - ie Blues format and Funk format. Thats probably not surprising to most of you but it was to me. Happy to upload more if anyone is interested. Oil - RnB Blues.mp3Just as the Sun (Funk).mp3- Imploding
what? and miss all this fun?- Farewell Clayton Oliver
I’d be more excited if it was Hogan. Hogan’s probably saying I want out if I have to be leading to Oliver. I’ll never get a kick.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Dimma's pitch to Trac will be that, if he comes to GC, he will turn Trac into another Dusty.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
With apologies to The Coasters from their 1956 song "Yackety Yak": "Clear out your locker and your trash If you want your spending cash You'd better clean that kitchen floor You ain't gonna cook for us no more Yackety Trac - don't come back."- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Jaded, the only thing we haven't changed is that we have hung onto Clarrie. Do you think that the thing that has [censored] Trac off the most is the pandering to Clarrie by the Club over the last couple of years? - Bailey Humphrey
