The MFC would agree the likely Oliver deal is a pretty sh!!t!e one. But even knowing this, they are taking this course of action - which appears to be the lesser of two evils for them. They would know far better than us the impact Oliver has had / is having on the Club, and as the stated aim of this Trade Period is to make the Club better, I have to trust that moving Clarry on is helping to achieve that aim. Still hurts though.

Thanks for making my case. You did say “when he has got multiple goals it's always uncontested stuff that your not ganna get much off in the big time.” The stats above show that 74% of Mihocek’s marks are uncontested. I would have thought that was a fair bit. So I’d say there is hope for Jeffo yet.

We don't get BH: - I used to have a girlfriend like @Demon Forever - tempting me, promising me the world, but I was never able to get past first base. I haven't learned since those early days - still getting sucked in. He should be banned!

Picket, you know full well that, even if we accept nothing for Clayton and only 2 first round picks for Trac, you will pay up your membership as usual, complain on DL as usual, and go out to Casey and provide fantasy training reports as you have previously. You might be a bit grumpier than usual, but come on, who else but us DL's would listen to your rants? Oliver 2016 - 2022 - One of the best players in the comp, possibly ever. Oliver 2023-2025 - By his exceptional standards, very poor. Only the Club knows the full issues with Clayton, what they have had to put up with and what impact he's had on the Club and the players around him. I have no doubt that it got to the point where enough was enough, and therefore the Club, knowingly, gave Clarry a set of instructions about the Clubs future direction, and his role change as a result, which, as probably planned, caused Clarry to want out. The Club believes that this is the best move for the Club and its culture, and it could well be the making or breaking of Clarry - hopefully the former. Any break-up is sad- made worse by the fact that he was a once in a generation player - but we are not a reform school, and there can only be one standard for every player at the Club - not one for the team and another for Clarry. So many valid reasons to let him go - the head knows this. But a number of emotional reasons to keep him - the heart wants what the heart wants. Thankfully the Club has listened to its head rather than its heart
