  1. I’m standing in front of “this year” ready to grab it - but I can’t find its “throught”. Help me please.

One more sensible suggestion from you Kev and you’ll be banned from this thread.
  3. Thanks Luci, I had a similar thought. Even last year, how often did Langdon, and to a lesser extent Windsor, after some serious defensive gut running from the wing, clean up on the last line of defence? Its early days yet, but I haven't seen our current wingers doing the same.
  4. I'm not sure that sitting on the pine is the best way for Fritsch to regain form and confidence - better at Casey I think.
  5. If our opposition has kicked 16 goals, is it damning that 7 of our back men only laid a total of 3 tackles all day? None of Howes, Salem, Lever nor Windsor laid one tackle between them.
  6. Yes but so is Kossie.
  7. Come on FD, I’m trying to be serious and you are taking the pizz. Not helpful.
  8. Of course we don’t pay you @Ghostwriter. It’s missing shiiite like this that is holding you back. And let’s face it, reporting on hairdos, nicknames, players aunties’ cousins and girlfriends is “unique” and a good “filler”, but has only limited appeal (I like it but some don’t). But it’s scoops like Petts missing todays game that has wide spread appeal, and would greatly enhance your brand and probably place you on the payroll - just as @picket fence is. Picket’s reporting has universal appeal (and I mean galaxy wide appeal), hence his significant retainer. So as I said previously GW, please lift your game
  9. It’s pretty obvious you need to do some work on your relationship with Petts. Cannot believe he didn’t tell you he wasn’t playing after training finished. What have you done to him? (Or not done maybe?). We send you to training to elicit just this type of news. Please lift your game.
  10. Didn't the track watchers state that TMAC left the training field early with those that were to play at Casey? If that's the case, then it sounds like Petty might be ill or injured, with TMAC taking his place in the squad. Edit: Sorry, didn't see BC_1718_DC's comment above.

I think it was not only a heart-felt, but also an extremely smart and well planned statement by Greeny. Anyone that wants to listen, won’t bother with any more “Oliver and Trac are wanting to leave” shiiite. And now the focus is not so much on Kossy, nor the MFC, but on Freo and WC. We have got on the front foot for once, which is a really pleasing change. The statement as a whole shows that despite the BS media [censored], we are a united and focused club. And who better to say all this than our President!
  12. Agreed they have great individual talent, but are they a great team?
  13. Are you trying to say he is not worthy of this honour? - 'cause that's what it sounds like.
  14. I see ANB has been appointed one of four vice captains at the Crows. Respect.
  15. Not on form you haven't
  16. I have absolutely no idea what you just said - is it just that I'm getting old?

Agree on Oliver - he is his own worst enemy with the umpires unfortunately.
  18. Is it really a coincidence that we have both Harvey Langford and Lego onboard this year?
  19. I read where Sestan was impressive off half back in the two’s. Is he a chance for a run next week to take AMW’s spot? I’d certainly like to see him given a shot.
  20. I hope every one of our “possible” players have blinders today to make our selectors job for round 1 as difficult as possible. Really looking forward to seeing them perform.
  21. I’m worried for the snake.
  22. I thought he was referring to George Gawn
  23. I don’t read your posts - er, except this one.
