It is incomprehensible that Roffey hasn’t spoken to Tracc or his family - so much so that I wonder if she is telling porkies here. Saying she hadn’t means she is not in a position to answer questions about Tracc. Maybe, like everyone else in the club, she doesn’t want to make public statements about Tracc. It is also conceivable that Tracc has problems with Roffey, so no way would she want to publicly comment on that. Either way, she is not the leader we need right now. She should acknowledge this and fall on her sword, now. If she were to resign, it could well be the trigger / face-saving out that allows Tracc to come back into the fold.

I thought he was poorly treated by MFC. He may not have been a world beater, but the form he showed in ‘21 he at least deserved respect. He certainly didn’t have that from the President. At a NSWDemons event some 2 years ago, where Roffey was a guest speaker, she stated that “you don’t win finals with players like Tomlinson, he won’t be picked”. Not Roffey’s finest moment, and makes you wonder what else she may have said on other occasions to the demon faithful.

Pick 12 and Frosty?

Daz, @WalkingCivilWar has kept a pretty low profile for a very long time on her “lack of fondness” for Tracc. There have been hints here and there, but certainly no blatant knocks on the boy, for as we are all aware, WCW does not abide by the dumping on our players. Yet on 18th Aug, she wrote a post in response to someone else, where she hinted more strongly than I’ve seen before of her “lack of fondness “ for Tracc. It initially took me by surprise and I responded with the following to ensure I had interpreted correctly: “Thank you for your comments on Clarrie. That is very reassuring. As for Tracc, without actually saying it, you painted a very unflattering picture of him - which I’m sure was your real intent. It seems that the ego-maniac kid that first arrived at the club perhaps hasn’t really changed, only disguised that trait. I also infer that perhaps Tracc has been less than accepting of Clarrie’s transgressions, and that Batman and Robyn are no longer the dynamic duo. If the divide at the club actually stems from all of this, then I hope we give Tracc similar orders that we gave Clarrie - shape up or ship out”. So I think you are being a bit hard when you say that she has “quickly turned on a player”, she’s felt that way for a long time. I also think that her posts were not “critical of people on here for suggesting he leaves”, as you claim, rather I read them as saying that it was only media chat, and that neither the Club nor Tracc had, at that stage, come out and said he was leaving, so don’t take it as gospel yet. Anyway, it’s a very sad state of affairs and something our Club doesn’t need and really doesn’t deserve. Hope for the best but plan for the worst.

They might be Adam, but I’d still trade places with them in a heartbeat!

Draft picks are a bit of a lottery. Beating the Pies would be glorious. I say let’s thump the bastards.

I know how he felt - happens to me all the time.

He won’t see that Binny, he’s already blocked you. But he will now.

Great reporting WCW. Pity it’s only taken 24 weeks to get you to this standard.

I vote for mentally unhinged.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson

Quite a few on here seem to believe Petty will head to the backs once TMac or May retires. Im not sure that will happen. As long as Petty keeps improving as a key forward, I don’t think Goody would have any desire to move him back. -
Am really tempted @WalkingCivilWar,biting my tongue.

I wanted to believe that it is all about lack of fitness with Clarry. But he’s shown on the field that there are far more issues than just fitness to worry about with him. He has lost his “game” altogether. He is 10% of the player he was. In fact, if you didn’t know better, you’d swear he was a Fine Cotton ring in. He may well have a big pre season but my fear is that we will never see the old Clarry again unfortunately.

Rivers has really stepped up. His efforts need to be acknowledged because he had to carry Oliver and Viney as well.

I hope Marty Hore gets another go in the ones. Casey certainly relies on him.

Hunter will have to beg Goody to have any chance of playing his 200th game. It certainly won’t be on form.

Such a shame that Laurie cannot hit a target. (He’s not the only one mind).

Luv your constant positivity.

Haha if you are in Pattaya you ain’t all that well!

Haha I bet you have Clint.

With Windsor out, what are the thoughts on playing Disco on the wing. He has pace, he can mark, he can defend, he’s good below his knees and he can kick. This might allow Jeffo to get a run up forward - which would make @picket fencevery happy.
