The way Trac and ANB hugged prior to the start of our Crows match, had me thinking that Trac may want to be reunited with ANB next year.

Well i don't think the particular supporter you are referring to is random at all. Nor do I consider re-hashing this over and over again a "good laugh". Further, this particular poster provides more information and certainly more entertaining posts than 99.99% of posters on DL. If you want that input to stop, then simply just keep posting this sort of stuff. Personally, I enjoy her posts and think DL is a better place with her participating.

I believe he has the talent to make it, but given the injury he had, unlikely '26 will be his break-out year (although i hope it is) - more likely '27. But confident he'll be with us a long time.

John, to be honest, I'm getting very tired of hearing rumors about Trac looking to leave. Where there is smoke there is most likely fire. The fact that he has not come out and said that he is a Dee for life is very annoying and says to me that he is not 100% committed to our Club. And if that is the case then he is a rotten apple within our basket of players and needs to go. He got the players very offside last year around this time for the same reasons, and it looks like he's doing it again, so nothing has changed this year - he'd be pissing me off by his lack of commitment if i were his teammate. Trac has been a special player for us over the years - but he showed this year that he no longer is and may never be again. For me, unless he opens up like Clarrie did and states that he is committed to the Dees - before the trade period starts - I'd be getting rid of him.

I may be wrong Daz, but despite whether McVee has signed or is about to, I thought the famous wager between picket and GW was whether or not McVee was staying or going. If so, it sounds like picket needs to do some shopping tomorrow.

Time to cool the jets? Banters great, but when its getting more serious - not so great. Time for a bit of perspective, i think. No one is right or wrong at the moment. Just let it play out.

Is it just me or is anyone else fed up with discussing NB? This is the Steven King thread. King won. NB lost. King was the best candidate. NB was not (and possibly not even second best for our Club). I could care less about some Tassie job that may or may not happen. This might have only factored into our consideration if NB was the preferred candidate. But he wasn’t so it didn’t. Agree with your assessment of SM, but disagree on your last point about Buckley. In The CEO’s interview on 3AW Paul was very clear that King won - “we got our man” - the contest over Buckley, not because Bucks couldn’t commit but because King was the better candidate.
