I blame one of our sponsors for our start to the year. I have had Hertz storage trucks drive past me during the week leading into games, let me elaborate. I've seen one on the Friday before the GWS game and one on Saturday before the Roos game both resulting in loses. This is not a weekly occurrence either, straight out of the blue right in time for footy season. But wait there's more, I saw two Hertz trucks today. I don't know what the two Hertz truck sightings mean today. I'm hoping they counteract each other and it means a win for Saturday. But if it doesn't I might lock myself up and not come out of home for a while. That's how well I'm holding up mentally at the moment. Don't you just love footy!

I definitely agree with you but I reckon we had no money in the cap to make this happen. Hence the drafting of Shaq attack, Majak, etc. Ben Brown was meant to be the spearhead, he was meant to be our man from 2021-2024. We only got 20‐25 good games out of him someone needed to go before this was viable.

We made Darling look like a billionaire yesterday. He was on the scrap heap at the end of last year banged up and we made him reappear like a leviathan. It gets worse every time you think about it. I just keep shaking my head in disappointment. 🙅

Just to add to misery we have Norf supporters rubbing our noses in it. Basking in joy that our supporters were having a go at the players. How low have we fallen.

I'm an interstate supporter, I would love nothing more than to go to the footy every week or 2nd week. I pay $600 for my membership and I attend 1 game in Melbourne every year if I'm lucky. Does this make me not dedicated? Do the AFL and my fellow supporters expect me do drop $600-$700 a week to watch my team play? Am I part of the problem? If I was swimming in cash I would but I'm not.
