PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 8th December 2025
It's gonna be a long year in 2026.

Jason Taylor’s contract
His 2 glaring misses he would like to have back would be Sam Weideman and everyday that is passing its looking like Jefferson will join that elusive club. Never the less JT has been brilliant for the MFC. 👏

Our Aging List
Took the words right out of my mouth. Then you have Tom Campbell on the list still he's 34 never played a senior game in red and blue. All this malarkey is always very subjective. Our 28-30 players that will play a majority of the year especially the core of the group will be young. Best 25 (young players under 25 that have played senior AFL) off the top of my head. Backs- Disco, Bowser, Howesy, Andy Moniz Wakefield, Rivers/mid all under 25. Mids- Lindsay, Kolt, Langers, Culley, Windsor, K. Pickett/fwd, Rivers/def all under 25 Forwards, Roo, Jeffo(has alot of work to do), Chandler, Sparrow. 15 players under 25 in best 25 in 2026. We are relying on our existing development of our under 25 players and a couple of the draftees to kick on in 26. (Players that need to be a decent run at AFL level under 25) Big Kent/Fwd, Laurie/mid, Adams/def, Max Heath/Ruck/fwd +2025 players drafted in.

2026 MFC Calendar
Hi all i know this ain't a big deal but its a big deal to me, how is this allowed to happen? My nephew gives me a calendar each year for Christmas. I hope no one from our club has ticked off on this complete malarke. This would have to be ticked off from someone in the AFL department one would think. AFL asleep at the wheel once again.

Training Ground?
I just hope when this is all agreed on that the club announce it with clean air earlier on in that specific week. No distraction from games in the Ashes series, AFLW is finished and it is on a day completely about the MFC finally getting a home base. This will be the 2nd biggest day (🏆2021 1st) in the clubs history in 60 years.

Welcome to Demonland: Thomas Matthews
Bout time we've nabbed some small forwards. 👏💯

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 19th November 2025
How did Wet Coke let this man go? He literally just fell in our lap.

Bailey Laurie to half-back in 2026?
Im all for Bailey to have a crack in the best 23 in 2026 its make or break for him now. If he has the ability to read the play ahead it will make things easier for him to adapt. Positioning as a defender is crucial in effecting the contest. If he has a mentor to guide him through this positional change it would help him immensely. I could see him competing for Salem's role across HB as another kicker.
-
Archie Ludowyke
If they believe he's a contest mark beast then go for it. Otherwise we keep going for another pure midfielder and a small forward type both with elite kicking skills.
-
Aidan Schubert
I thought the exact same thing James Manson mk2. But im yet to see any tape of the lad.

Im not trying to pick him apart, he just knows all that went down. That's why he's the Gatekeeper.

Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
I knew something was up when we hired Nathan Bassett and Nathan Jones last year. No one wanted to come to us.
-
Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
The club turned a blind eye to all of these shenanigans. People directly and indirectly knew but we kept winning to mask any sort of media coverage on it. When the pressure grew too much it just all exploded beyond repair. Chapter closed. End of story. Max Gawn is the gatekeeper to all these truths, he knows everything that went down.

They couldn't move physically that day and their ball movement was surprisingly slow, which indicates a heavy training phase. They even drew to Norf in Tassie.
-
Liam Jurrah - father/son?
Jurrah's son is worth a crack if this possibility becomes a reality.
-
Sullivan Robey
I hope the club selects 2x players with our top 2 picks instead of trading up. Hopefully JT has some tricks up his sleeve. Mids will be the order of the day one would think.

Mason Cox - A Poll
- Mason Cox - A Poll
I think he would be an excellent acquisition for the football club. Would transform our list and put us into Premiership calculations.- Bailey Humphrey
But at what price now with 4 or 5 other Vic clubs gunning for him. It's all over in regards to BH, we had our huge opportunity to snag him and failed.- Dawn of a new Era - Paul Guerra article 18.10.2025
Best thing for the club no issues at all. No more articles on this BS that has transpired over the past 4 years. We will find out how deep Maysie is invested this off season. I love him but he needed to hear what was told to him.- Realistic 23 for 2026
We need another livewire small forward who going to bring tackle pressure. The ball will bounce out of our F50. - Mason Cox - A Poll
