Fritta fracturing his foot against Sydney R23 after kicking 5 came back and played but was hampered by the injury. He's never been the same player. Melksham doing his knee in the same game against Sydney was in career best form, shown glimpses since but never the same. The Brayshaw hit but that [censored] from that black and white club! Still makes my blood boil that whole saga.

I was at the game yesterday and it was clear as day that they murdered us around the contest with their shape and method. This happened all day. We didn't want to switch the ball or enter out into the corridor from congested ball situations. We just continually tried to handball back into congestion and not try to set up a clear way out through to the fat side. We are definitely the worst team at converting our opportunities inside 50 from set shot and open play scenarios. Absolutely embarrassing how far we have fallen.

💯 correct our players don't read the cues on when to burst out and find space from fwd half turnovers. If you watch the Bulldogs, Collingwood and Geelong on fwd hold turnovers and general build up play they know exactly when and where to run when a turnover eventuates. They also have the cool heads and skilled personnel to pick through a defence that are caught on the hop. Blazing away to the top of the square or into the pockets ain't going to cut it anymore, especially with the Inexperienced Tall forwards.
