PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Sorry I'm mistaken, He's played 198 as of last round against Norf. AFL tables have Clarry down for 199 already, its actually his 199 this week sorry for the balls up. I'm laying this squarely at the feet of AFL tables. Apologies.

How can you not like a young man with a nickname like Disco.

We’re not as bad as you might think
We have been a negative club this year but I see things slowly turning on field, whilst the wins have not been their our performances bar our goalkicking have been commendable. Our team is still a decent team, the question i would really like to know is what happened during our pre season to start the season so sluggishly? It destroyed us. What I think the coaching panel, list manager, selection committee have finally worked out is that they need to start integrating the next batch of youngsters into the line up and breath new enthusiasm in and around the club. I'm hoping to see more youngsters get a go in the next month and really generate some momentum on the field and off it with the introduction of new CEO Paul Guerra and new El Presidente Steven Smith. In the last 3 years we have stagnated as a club with off field issues, negative media coverage, unstable admin direction, lack of progress on new facility, poor recruitment of mature players. Its just been one bad thing after another and our on field performance has suffered as a result. I can see the dark cloud that has hovered over us clearing and the club gaining new direction with new leadership and we can ride this new wave of momentum into 2026. 🤞🪵🫲

Disco is undroppable. He is the backline for the next 10 years.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
What happened to protecting the head? 3 weeks for knocking a player out coat hanger style. I immediately thought 5-6 weeks. The optics look terrible here! #F M D

Missing a AA badge, wrapped up his 8th yesterday.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
He'd have to be captain of AA following the previous senior status rules within the AFL.

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
Give him a bit of credit, he was better this week presented to the contest and wasn't outmarked as much. I know it was only Norf.

Can we talk about Kolt?
Alot better by Jeffo today, must tidy up his goal kicking routine though. Also hit the weights in the off season. I'd suggest a call to Riley Thilthorpe and asked what his weights program looks like.

I reckon Mentha needs another pre season under his belt before he pushes for selection. He certainly looks exciting though.

Unbelievable, snaps from pockets and all. A poster mentioned we'd kick 16.5 today he was pretty much bang on the money!

TRAINING: Saturday 12th July 2025
You'd think Rivers by now would be playing in the midfield. Serious problems if he's not playing a majority of midfield minutes next season.

Barring an interrupted pre season Kentfield should be lining up at FF in 26. I've seen enough.

Rival Clubs Monitoring Jake Lever
Ok well then they won't be trading anyone out then if that is the case. I still think we need to take some calculated risks though. If the picks coming in are high enough.

Farewell Judd McVee
Wouldn't be far off the mark @beelzebub Throw in Rivers as another who doesn’t like his role.

2x mature players must move on this year, If what i know is correct the 2026 draft is the start of when players can nominate Tassie for the draft. The AFL are enticing players to nominate Tassie in the 2026 draft and recieve a cash bonus signing on fee. Some of those kids and their families will take the cash bait where the pool becomes diluted for the rest of the comp. It becomes to compromised from next year onwards, so things need to move this year. I'm not aware of prospects in this years pool but if it is supposedly strong maybe we consider trading our 2026 1st rounder into this years draft also.

Plus a 1st rounder, i would take that in a heart beat. We have to be ruthless now or we will be years in the wilderness. In order for this to happen a couple of our mature age players must be traded. Must secure 2x 1st rounders from clubs with healthy draft hands, we can't go a draft without 1st rounders.
