Round 1 team 2019
When he is on, Jeff is silk, and it happens too infrequently throughout a season. If I was 14yo I would want Garlett for the 'excitement' - as it stands 14 goals in 18 games as an 18yo who provides pressure and contributes with greater effect for others to score goals as part of an overall system is who I'd be having.

Round 1 team 2019
@ProDee- elaborate why 'they' wont try it often. What's the logic behind that from your persepctive? On this - my thoughts are - that surely Preuss wouldn't have come if he was continuing to be a bit part player and surely the FD didn't offer him something that they're not going to commit to? (form warranted).

oooh sexy - our program is cutting edge. anyone have intel on what the paradigm shift is? Let's touch base, going forward and get distruptive, as I can see all the low hanging fruit in the pipeline. I guess we need to leverage our assets and move the needle and think outside the box to synergise our 360degree thinking. So I'd love to pick your brain and take a deep dive.

Merry Christmas Demonlanders
Merry Christmas to all. Particularly to the mods. I only stumbled across this two years ago and it's nice to be in a community (yes it provide community) about a passion of mine. To the rest, keep up the amusing, informative and insightful (mostly) input. Let's see if we can keep the forum flamewars to a minimum in 2019

Inside the top 4 picks video - vomitous
It's been spoken about elsewhere - all selections were to be spaced out for 5 minutes as a directive, irrespective if you were clear on your decision immediately. Appreciate your opinion on the quality of the viewing, I for one don't care for it - and thousands of others would say that both you and I are wrong. People vote with their time and their money and it's all their discretion.

Play of the Year - 2018
Watching the weekly video's - thanks @Demonland - made me think about a top 10 countdown for the play of the year. I thought perhaps, forum posters may want to post some of their own ideas- we could then 'second, third' etc the play and then get a montage happening. Now, I've got a poor memory but here are some of the one's that stand out for me off the top of my head in no particular order. Viney's gather and spin in the EF and kick to the top of the goal square to Brayshaw Fritsch's first mark and goal in the first round 5 minutes of tap out domination from Gawn and the onball brigade perhaps against Brisbane Can I still talk about Clarry's goal against Adelaide last year?? ? **edit - I'll compile the options by close of business Friday 14th. Votes can be submitted on that thread from that list until close of business Wednesday 19th... and ill do my best to source all videos. If you happen to have the video of said highlight - please submit it - or give a time stamp on the video...it'll make my job easier TIA. ***don't just post a video - you'll have to write down your choice(s) otherwise I'll lose track

@Neil Crompton - serious question. Why do other 'unknown entities' opinions of players matter to you?

Age Ladder
Thanks @Collar-Jazz-Knee - Mmm, as I've got sfa to do this afternoon i thought i'd alter the table - Lewis, Jones and Garlett had their ages dropped to a mid table 25. Which drops the team to 23.64 - a comfortable 15th on the ladder. Though personally if the gap is 24.86 (Hawthorn) to 23.24 (Gold Coast) - I'd argue it means sfa and that there are far more useful metrics as have been detailed above.

One more “Demon” to conquer
Well, we're [censored] now, as they've picked up Menzel, who'll jag a minimum of 6 goals against us... retrospectively, he's far too potent for us ?

2019 best 22 and depth chart
Love the positivity @Smokey !- personally I am not sure where Jones fits anymore... he has his moments that are great, and he can butcher it too... irrespective of the his history of carrying the side, I think he should (in one man's opinion) be phased out... and it would be the same if he was 23... Kolo intriques me...kudos to the gold coast medical team for working through this time with him/it's not a question of whether our's is better per se, I think our development personnel will help him no end... Deadly indeed...
