Correction I have no idea what is coming our way but there has been very little to get excited about at THIS STAGE! Hogan is a super talent and my team hold the cards, he is contracted ffs, if my team fold for a lesser deal it is bad PR and bad football department operations.

With all this happening, it's a given that the FD have a range of things cooking...well not even cooking ,they've been developing a whole range of relationships in the background for years... every delisting and trade will be done, because there is an improved (albeit not always straight away) balance for the team, and because they've got 'agreements' in place. For me - this is the only way to make sense of it.

Why are folk getting upset about what pundits believe he is worth? They don't set the market...so they can think and postulate about whatever....its all going to be ok, really it is. It's about as relevant as me posting on some forum somewhere in the public domain about what I feel he is worth...it means SFA ps: he's a 5 and first round next year.

It's not that he's playing mind games, I think a lot of the supporters see him as an incredibly diligent person, who has historically been able to do some great recruiting, without us being aware until it happens... these lines of thoughts are more of a sign of respect for the bloke if anything...

Well, the first language of AFL is lying... or not airing your intentions...since when has Mahoney ever been overt when it's come to bigger names coming into the club. Not to say he is lying of course... but as someone else said...the deals are done, the rest is theatre. So, the vibe I have is that I can't help but think that if/when Hogan goes to Freo...Gaff will shortly announce the Dee's, as his asking price is more closely matched due to more cap $ - if the trade to Freo fails... well, who cares really...

I'm happy to take the advice from others on here that have spoken to Gaff's management that it is North or WCE. In the meantime - I can't help but think though, that his choice when he makes his announcement will be based on Hogan getting to Fremantle or not...

So I presume, Luke Darcy is filthy towards 'Stevo' ... Unless this is all ducks and drakes of course...
