  1. Richmond have a game against geelong coming up and port play adel. With GWS losing today, our game against them could put us into 3rd with a W. And we'll have to have an eye on percentage if we have north, stk, bris or coll done at 3/4. A little over confidence never hurt no one, as a supporter.
  2. Are you sprinkling Weideman with fertilizer over summer to grow 20kg Or playing Pedo at FF all year?
  3. You dont want GWS to open up 2nd or 3rd place with a loss to the tigers? I thought you were being bold! Edit: Im only half joking. Id prefer richmond to lose to some teams down the bottom afterbeating gws. Then we can move past both with a win against port and gws! 2nd or 3rd would be irrelevant if its at the mcg vs geelong! Unless you really hate our away strip.
  4. I still wonder though, What if TMAC is having a honeymoon period, and he actually does get worked out at some point over the next few months or next year and should probably head back to CHB. With TMAC/Lever/Frost/Hibberd/Jetta/Hunt, we've got a very powerful defence. Even with OMAC as depth we can give him a few years to develop with Garland retiring. Prior to the TMAC phenomena, quite a few in here were calling for us to bring in a mid-sized forward like Gunston to support Watts and Hogan or a ruck/fwd. Hopefully Vandenburg is injury free next year and can squeeze back in, and Kent can find his form. Weideman will obviously take until mid to late next year at a minimum before he can hold down CHF/FF. Now the quandary is how long will Weideman take? Can we actually look to the trade period to bring in a marking forward like a Gunston, or a forward/ruck to compete with Pedo at CHF as well as targeting Lever? Our forward line would perhaps benefit from trading in a player that could take the load off Hogan and Watts in the event that TMAC loses form as a forward. Interesting trade period coming up, i think our priorities will depend on how our forward and defence cope over the next few months. Even if Defence is not our immediate priority with the forward line showing weakness, Lever is someone you just have to target. When Opportunity calls etc.
  5. This last two seasons have been all a part of his troubles though, i think it's important to note that he's been doing a re-adjusted training and weight regime that pertains to his neck and concussion issues and probably had extensive professional consultations relating to his concussion troubles over the past few months, as if his career and health post-career depended on it. Now a clean slate with better management in place.
  6. But without any need to provide anymore content on OMAC, won't you be dropping dead online anyway? How will we know the difference?
  7. "Harley Balic has been granted a further indefinite leave of absence from the Fremantle Football Club" Kent for Balic now?
  8. I reckon Oliver's non-apology was a brilliant piece of performance artwork too. Great personality!
  9. One thing i've noticed is that he'll run into an oncoming tackle while holding the ball low in preperation to kick it. He sometimes just runs head on into tackles and doesn't do anything because his body has already made up its mind to go for a kick. His flexibility reminds me of Ben Holland. Like having a giraffe in defence. Needs to be more flexible with his hand eye coordination and get his hands up over his head to brace a tackle and fire off a quick handball.
  10. Was he in severe pain in the rooms or upset that it might've been his last game and he had planned to really have a big crack at getting back into consistent form until the injury? Perhaps both?
  11. 2015 they werent making up numbers. The umps screwed them in the wce prelim after they came out with a 5 goal start. They wouldve had a big bash all-vic grand final with hawthorn like their earlier encounters. It was wce who made up numbers as evidenced by their GF and my wasted afternoon.
  12. We could offer him a position as club chef or kitchenhand with his elite machete skills.
  13. Pretty good game from Zaharakis at 114 AF points and 31 disposals, 2 goals and 6 inside 50's!
  14. I wouldn't mind them kicking some more goals now the Saints, as the Bombers are on 107% Somekind of middle ground they both could occupy at around 103-105 would be nice.
  15. Remain undefeated and some notable games go our way and we'll win the minor premiership. Geel d Adel, Rich d GWS, Syd d Geel, Port d Adel, Coll d Geel/Geel d GWS or Geel d Coll/GWS d GEEL. And we boost our percentage above others. Ahahaha
  16. I've decided to shelve my offer and instead target Brendan Goddard with 1 year playing contract that leads into a coaching position. How you like them apples? Vomit Bucket is ready.
  17. A big win by one of these teams may be as good as 4 points considering that their percentage could catch up to ours though. Maybe a big loss to one of these clubs in the following weeks to a non-contender or top team might be better for us.
  18. He's probably too good looking to not be kicking and celebrating goals.
  19. Out of left field idea alert!! - With the retirement of Luke Hodge this week, is anyone curious as to what Petracca would be like as a defender. He's got the body type and developing the presence that Hodge has amidst a pack of players who are a class below, and would probably develop into as tough a player eventually. I'm curious as to whether he could hold down a defensive 'general' role like Hodge in the future that rolls into the midfield in key moments. Especially if we did not bring in Lever and TMAC stayed forward. Could it be that if Hodge played the forward/midfielder role, the Hawks mightn't have had as much success? Perhaps Petracca as the floating high forward flank/midfielder might not be his eventual position in the future. I guess we'll see. He obviously is involved in so many scoring assists and is very valuable up forward but who knows. I think Salem is a great distributing defender but probably lacks the physical presence to be that Hodge-like defensive commander. I could see Salem becoming more of a wing/midfielder in the future.
  20. There was a rumour that Goodwin had asked him to come play a year and then coach in the 2016 'Rockliff is coming to Melb' trade period on DL. We dodged a bullet if that's true. Of course, we got hit by a bazooka when we traded him initially :/
  21. Perhaps PJ could put some pressure on the AFL for the favorable fixturing of a Melbourne vs 18th from the year before match, for the week after every Darwin game?
  22. And if this NT deal costs us a top 4 spot with a flat performance in our 8 point game against Port, won't it have taken away (edit) Fri/Sat night home semi final at the MCG profits or Fri/Sat Night Home Preliminary Final profits ? How much would that cut into the NT deal?
