Well a win this week still gives us shot at top 4. If we lose but can win the last 3 then Sydney losing to Geelong & Adelaide should give us a home final against them. If we lose 2 then im afraid Essendon should overtake us on percentage, and then we're relying on the Bulldogs to lose 2 out of 3 with games against GWS/Port & Hawthorn at home. Absurdly, if we lose 2 and sneak into the 8 above the Dogs and below Essendon, we might have a better shot against Port at Adelaide Oval than winning 3 and still having to play Sydney at the SCG, if the Swans hold 6th.

Who is our defensive depth next year in case of injury or if TMAC stays fwd? Who helps Lever & Omac? Garland ?

What about targetting Lobb or Wright? Has Tom Lynch re-signed? Tippet last resort (on small money) The beauty of TMAC playing both ends is that we can target either a Tall FWD on big money OR a tall defender, and swing TMAC back or forward accordingly.

I mean I hate his persona and his punchable face, but I do think he has shown signs of being a very good player. Took some Clutch marks and goals last year to win some games and now proving to be a very good intercept marking defender. He's young and could easily develop into the 6-12 best players at some point. Like Rockliff, he seems to come with some baggage though.

He was BOG against the in-form team of the comp as a defender and he's uncontracted. Someone has to ask the question irrespective of him being a sook.

James Sicily is too revolting a person to get a demonland thread of his own, so i'll limit him to this space. Uncontracted at the end of the year, would we be interested if Lever was to re-sign with the Crows? Sicily as a third tall intercept mark who can also play tall with his leap and has a decent pair of hands. Can swing forward too and kick straight. Would come at a far cheaper cost than Lever potentially and would give us another year to see if OMAC and Frost can grow into a defensive stopper role ? *Vomits*

Put another way, we're currently short a big bodied forward without TMAC going forward. Id like to see how we go on Ben Brown and Patton, Hipwood, McCArtin over the next month to reassess how our team defence handles a very tall forward now that they've found more sync.
