What did they let Jesse Hogan go for?

And nice in theory that they also have this flexibility with TMac as well.

Are you suggesting he’s lost a [censored]?

Contrary to a few on this thread, I don’t mind we’re playing both Adelaide teams in a row, and with one game as the gather round game. It means we don’t have to potentially play a third game in Adelaide, as well as getting to play/watch a Melb based team in Melbourne rather than Adelaide (as well as less travel all round). it’s just the 5 day break that sucks

I like that they’re using Gus’s helmet for a source of motivation

What They're Saying at Alberton Oval / Shelbyville
In Harmes Way replied to Rab D Nesbitt's topic in Melbourne Demons
I thought the umpiring let a lot go both ways. Paying the mark for a mark in the third row of level 1 got me started and then it was the ducking. I thought we got a few marks paid that weren’t 15m (not a free, I know, but we got away with a few). Free kicks ultimately even, or we were +1. But I guess if you’re a power fan you expect to win the free kick count by at least +10 at home, so rightfully [censored] off with the umpiring. -
Gee DL is an enjoyable read with a coffee this morning 😁

Ken Hinkley in his presser: The quality of their execution was off the charts

Whenever our backs were against the wall and we needed a goal, we just seemed to find one. Kicking for goal was massive tonight. And make no mistake, 5-2 to 3-3 in the last qtr was just superior fitness. The game really opened up with 10 mins to go. So many huge performances. Nibbler, take a bow.

Are you my father?

Well done to everyone going to the game tonight. Pretty ground to watch the game as is the walk over the bridge to the ground. Wish I was there with you, putting those feral Port fans out of their misery when we pump them.

And that tackle to Mav Weller in the Jack Viney made me cry thread - should have been in the package.... http://www.afl.com.au/video/2015-06-14/viney-slams-weller-in-fierce-tackle

You can add me to the "Jack Viney made me cry" thread - one or two tears after watching that. I know Jack will play his 200th the same as his first 199 - there is just no other way.

Gabba sold out some time ago according to my pies supporting mate from Brisbane. Should be a good game. Except for the country roads song

This might have occurred as a result of him pulling his finger out. I'll show myself out.

Sounds like he injured his hand at training rather than carrying the injury from the weekend

Great summary Jack, as ever. I did have to look up peripatetic. 3-1 would be an excellent start to the season. Congrats to Viney on his 200th.

Lever may and May may not.

Loving your insights @Webber, really gives additional confidence on club/other feedback. Thanks very much!

I noticed the experts at Fox predicted the pies to finish the H&A season 20-3. That hasn’t aged well.
