  1. We used to pay our chimney sweeps three carrots and a turnip, but I guess everyone’s different
  2. Completely agree, and I should know - I’ve seen the GF version at least 100 times
  3. I hope the MRP put the Mills bump on Spargs up against the Kossie bump on Bailey Smith a few yrs back when he played for the dogs. Both left the ground, bumped and caught their opponents high. Kossie got 3 wks on the basis his action had the potential to cause serious injury, even though Smith played out the game and played the next week. If the MRP move the goalposts, I’ll lose my [censored].
  4. Not if your scoring is as accurate as the demons.
  5. Watching that analysis puts Goody’s statements around “I love what we did without the ball” into a whole lot more context
  6. That sort of opposition forward line scenario suits Lever, who typically doesn't line up on a key tall so he can better peel off to intercept. May has good agility and speed, so good to line up on a mid sized forward which leaves Hamling with TMac.
  7. He’d smash a role in opposition analysis
  8. If we beat Brisbane by 11 points, and Brisbane beat Sydney by 60 points in last year's grannie, then we've got this one by at least 12 goals. No change. Except Viney for Sharp.
  9. Only got to see the last 20 mins, really looking forward to the replay! Sing the song loud boys.
  10. In the words of Billy Crystal in the Princess Bride “he’s not dead, he’s mostly dead”
  11. Universally admired and the game will be the poorer for not having him anymore.
  12. And given a three week suspension for staging.
  13. I reflect back to 2012 and the club was on its knees, was why I started my membership journey as a contribution lest we lose the club altogether. And in my member feedback surveys I’d comment we were irrelevant. This makes me so proud - the club isn’t just sitting on its hands counting up the members, they’re an integral part of our community and giving back in spades. Relevance personified. I hope the Davey family have a rare day in the sun and the boys play out of their skins for them. Well done MFC.
  14. As well as Petty out which is why I think you’re in the money
  15. For us to win this one by 40+ as some optimistic posters believe, I reckon we would need to hold them to 6 goals for the game. Can’t see that happening but I’d love it.
  16. I love Kossie too. Can we clap at the 36 minute mark of the first quarter for him too? (I also love this initiative for Clarry)
  17. How about the AFL come out and explain why this wasn’t paid the mark FFS.
  18. Richmond included practice games in the Balta ban, so they must be valid!
  19. Can you give me another clue?
  20. Whilst I don't have Disco and May at the "same same" level, and we looked shaky late in the game last week with May on the bench; I guess in some respects you pick the team against the opposition you're facing. Given the eagles only have Waterman and the young Archer Reid as their two key talls, I guess this stacks up as a strategy. Having JVR in as a second ruck option def has merit and good to reward his good form last week in the twos.
  21. If this were to happen binnie then I'd be questioning this move - atm we have May, TMac and Disco as the three key defenders and Petty, Fritsch and Melksham as three key forwards. Removing May from the equation leaves us IMO a bit short defensively and congests the forward line - unless we moved Petty back which I'd be loathed to do.
  22. Long time no see/read Jaded. Welcome back! Love that you're rightly protecting the redheads.
  23. How did you know last year this week would be a danger game?
  24. Down to the bay for recovery on Sunday?
