  1. Happily post on this website every positive act Jack Watts contributed that led to the win
  2. Tom Mac is also prone to missing the odd kick here or there, but you don't see anybody on this site make an example of him...
  3. Oh, and good to see Dom, Garlo and Jack Trengove in the team as well
  4. Notable inclusions: Jack Watts now we can all get back to our regular lives and worry about where in the 8 we're going to finish
  5. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...Earl is clearly one eyed and must have been looking with his other one.
  6. I reckon he looks a bit like Brian Dixon I only hope he plays in more premiership sides...
  7. Agreed- he's predicting we'll beat Hawthorn in a final - that would really add spice to the Jordan Lewis trade....love the thought of that happening (only mild payback for the grannie in 88)
  8. To be fair, most supporters can't remember the last time the FD drew a line in the sand and established (and subsequently upheld) standards. I can understand why some supporters still feel the need for talent to be picked every week without regard to upholding these standards. Whilst unfamiliar, I think we're in for some great times as a result. I can't wait to give it to my Hawthorn supporting mates...
  9. There's now another one to add to the mix: http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/melbourne-demons/max-gawns-cheeky-roast-for-his-mums-cooking-in-herald-suns-footy-17-magazine/news-story/55f9ec26bb28c73fe2a35455e01b2f0d Slobbo at the 3:10 mark in the video (i) can't remember Jayden Hunt's name and (ii) reintroduces Jamie Bennell to the list. Chief football writer, my arse.
  10. As evidenced by the dented brick in his rucksack at the pre Xmas camp that hit him in the scone
  11. I'm not sure how a young man that gets done drink driving and has fitness base issues gets two JLT games ahead of Jack Watts. [censored] me, Jack must be off the pace significantly. this said, I'm a huge fan of Clearance. Apologies for the derail.
  12. The journo should have quit while he was ahead - Christian Petracca IS a jet. no further analysis required
  13. Id missed the news this was an alternative clash strip, so was concerned this had actually become our new home strip, same as the girls. Delighted if it's the "new white" clash strip has the added benefit for the kids in that there's an acre of room for players signatures on the back...
  14. I'd argue hitting somebody laces out in the middle of their back is better than kicking it over their head and out on the full...
  15. I reckon if we got Target as a sponsor, it might have the added benefit of assisting T Mac with his kicking
  16. Even though it's still preseason, isn't it great we're reviewing a game against another team where the sentiment is generally positive (as much as it can be for 'landers).
  17. Cameron Bruce at 64 is pretty bloody good
  18. He wouldn't want to have said Trunk Canal too quickly - would have had the boys in fits of laughter.
  19. It must be confusing for the scoreboard team as both teams are Visitors...
  20. The weight of 50+ years of expectation from premiership drought will be easier lifted with two captains raising the cup. Great move. Congrats Jack Viney on the promotion, and well done chunk on maturely accepting you are an even greater leader by not feeling like you've got to go it alone.
  21. jonathan Brown - fearless. Would have loved him at CHF for us, roaming around the forward line with Neiter.
  22. I can see him getting a few more whacks in the back of the head this year a la Rance last year, as more defenders get frustrated with our multi pronged attack and Jack in particular
