Matt Jefferson will be 20 at the start of the ‘24 season and as pointed out by DLand he needs additional kg’s of muscle like JVR and as WCW pointed out if they can straighten out his posture he might be 198cm. Good mark and accurate kick, would be a welcome addition to our forward line when he starts to hit his straps. Harrison Petty, Jacob van Rooyen, Matty Jefferson, Bailey Fritsch and Tom Fullarton and maybe a fit BBB. Would make us a very dangerous side indeed. Let’s see what you have got Matty.

Looking forward to seeing Blake Howes make his debut in ‘24 we could use his height, pace and ball use in the team. Like to see him build up to 86 - 88kg’s as well. Show us your stuff Blake.

And only 3 acres to play with in total.!!

Thank you Andy George and Bin for a great listen. Actually listened to the first half last week and finished it off last night. I agree 2023 was one that got away and that is why it burnt so much but as Goody said no good getting bitter and twisted, we must continue to get better than our opposition. I am now ready to move onto 2024.

Jeez DB I wouldn’t even share Covid with that mob.🤣🤣🤣

I’m thinking 2028, another reason to hang in there, 50th wedding anniversary, 83rd birthday, two more premierships and our own elite training and fitness facility. That would be the icing on the cake. Get on board you doubting Thomas’s just make it happen.

Agree on the first two, I would like to see a bit more of a Jefferson breakout at Casey before bringing him in. I would prefer to see Fullarton in the forward 50 and providing a chop out for Max.

All local councils have forgotten their true role, collect rubbish, maintain local roads and footpaths, support local businesses and help facilitate the development of necessary infrastructure to support the community.

Me to WB I was physically spent after that last five minutes of the Carlton game, so many lost moments.

Best of luck Deakyn Smith hope you have a great year.

Thanks PF another great report for the archives, did you notice Verrall and Fullarton during match simulations as I am hoping that both will feature in the team in 2024. You should get a permanent pass into the ground, someone should raise it at the AGM on Tuesday night or maybe we should email Kate Roffe? -
Thanks wwsw I just listened to Perty on debrief podcast, he certainly addressed all the devils that we have been discussing post that Carlton nightmare game. He gets it. Thanks for highlighting the podcast as I wasn’t aware of it. It was very well conducted.

You will be greatly missed LH.❤️💙💕

DeeZone replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
After watching the first four videos on the website, I finished off with Gary Pert and Mick Stinear today. Firstly Gary Pert I always enjoy listening to Perty he is very inclusive and I liked that he addressed the questions that were directed his way and that he was excited about Caulfield. Mick is also very well spoken and covered off on the decline of his team after the Brisbane game and the fact that the team lacked the ability to regain the team spirit and connection that they had displayed during the season. He sounded a bit non plus’d and disappointed but looking forward to the draft and regeneration of the list. We are in very good hands particularly when you throw in Kate Roffe the MFC Board, Demonland and Fabulous Supporters.!! -

Thank you six6six fantastic footage of the boys out at Casey. Love your work.!! -
Thanks Andy another great interview Koltyn is such a well grounded confident and interesting young man. How many 18yold kids would mention parents and both sets of grandparents in such a short period of time. I can hear why WCW was so impressed with him, I liked his brotherhood line regarding him and the WA boys in the team. We have got one here.!

Kates letter has fired me up to the extent that I have Voted for the incumbents, I say bring it on. Caulfield isn’t close to Doreen but it’s a hell of a lot closer than Casey. This is about the Club having a legitimate home with Elite facilities in our life time or at least our children’s and I am all for that.

I just watched Alan Richardson, Simon Goodwin, Selwyn Griffith and Tim Lamb, they are leaving no stone unturned in attempting to make us a better football club. I love the holistic approach to football.❤️💙 -

HTD that is extremely poor turn out from our supporters, however it may indicate that our base aren’t as concerned as the club thought. I wonder how many were on line? -

Did any Demonlanders attend??? -
Yes I watched it tonight poor Ted he is only 60 and looks like he has really suffered and has developed early dementia. Very sad for one of our former players.💙❤️😪

Michael Hibberd was a family favourite from day 1, his is a great footy story from late starter at Frankston VFL to becoming an All Austrians and Premiership player at the mighty Dees. A real character who suffered a number of challenges in his life (EFC) and the loss of his much loved brother in a boating accident. We loved his determination and never be beaten spirit, hard tough uncompromising footballer. Trust comes to mind with Hibbo, will be hard to replace.!

It is the quickest way to break down barriers and help integrate a new group into the team structure and also provide close daily contact for the youngsters with our core playing group via the use of positive team building exercises. Eating Together breakfast, lunch and dinner and spending time together after hours. Rekindling the love for each other after a horrendous fade out two years in a row. The coaches and players can benefit from this type of exercise, like we did in SA & WA in 2021.😁😁
