  1. Well done girls great last quarter, well deserved defensive win. Good luck next week, you deserve it.!!!!
  2. I think it was Pendlebury that kicked him in the hand.😪😢
  3. I must agree Wwsw I mainly watch recorded shows or stream shows without ads. When I do watch live shows I do get annoyed by certain adds, gambling is the most hideous but car adds no longer provide any data just ambient lighting and cool music / people, it’s rare that you see an add that you can relate to.!!!
  4. TL and JT would have a specific range of draftees in their mind, whereas We as a collective of Dlanders are driven by our memories of specific weaknesses which we see as critical shortcomings. Some want additional mids that won’t get a game, KPF that are not AFL ready or rucks that will provide depth. This is a very stressful period in the life of a Demon as a Right call will help us continue our upwood climb whilst a couple of bad calls will hasten our decline.!!! In JT we Trust.!!
  5. When was the last time Fritta got 3 votes for kicking 4, 5, 6 or seven goals???
  6. Judging from the highlight reels and respected commentary Harry Barnett would be a great pickup Dazzle he is ready to go No1 at Casey and backup to take the pressure off Max and Brodie we don’t want either playing injured and it fills a critical long term need.!!
  7. Not from insider trading that’s for sure.!!
  8. You could be right tiers nurse him through the early part of the year and have him ready for the run home, we can only hope.!!
  9. We take Nick Sadler at 37? Haven’t seen his name linked to us before.
  10. Wow PD that is awesome, I must have just been lucky, we are on auto renewal and my wife and daughter have not received their packs yet.
  11. KDF email membership I have found them to be very responsive.!!
  12. Personally I would like to see the chain of command in the AFL, who is responsible for the process and how such a failure of this magnitude could occur. There are going to be a lot of people scurrying around the AFL May also be unexpected departures, everyone needs to be scrutinised top to bottom. AFL Integrity has been questioned regarding legitimacy of the Draw how Cripps was allowed to win the appeal and now the Brownlow Medal and that is just off the top of the head. AFL is a shambles.!!!
  13. The top 10 are narrowed down by the experts and the draftee’s ability to perform throughout the gruelling process. Players fall out of top 10 contention due to injury, loss of form at critical periods, poor interview technique, immaturity, etc. Pick 13 is a very good pick it provides a lot of flexibility for the recruitment team, to fill an urgent need or best available. Best available will net you a great player but they may not be able to help solve the teams real issues. To address a need also comes with risks but a huge hole opened up for us when Tom went down and our inability to address this glaring issue Cost us dearly in both finals. What a conundrum for TL & JT.!!!
  14. Thanks WCW I am not up to posting photo’s on Demonland we also received our 25 year consecutive membership Badges as well. Very stoked.!!
  15. Maybe trying to put other clubs off. Lol.!!
  16. I received my 2023 membership pack today, presentation is very professional, best yet by far.!!!
  17. We should be using the best umpires available in the final series, it is looking more like Rafferty’s Rules. The throws are so blatant it looks like the umps have never played footy.!!!
  18. I have just re-read through Kevin Sheean’s list of tall forwards / rucks and he has listed 27 players that fit the category which surprised me a bit. So TL / JT will have players available at each pick if that is the way they are tracking.!!
  19. The thing that I love about this Draft is that we are no longer looking for Messiahs, we now have most bases covered apart from a tall forward and a tough back-up Ruck / Forward. At pick 13 do we roll the dice and top up our midfield group or go tall as it takes longer to develop a tall forward option? At 37 same again best available or best Tall option. We currently have 2 first rounders and 2 second rounders in 2023 to bring in some quality talent to upgrade our list, But we can be very selective and perhaps a bit left field to fill the gaps. We have the luxury of having a number of elite players:- Oliver, Petracca, Brayshaw, May, JV, Gawn, Grundy, Langdon and Kozzie, supported by Lever, Petty, Salem, Rivers, Bowey, Hibberd, Hunter, Harmes, Sparrow, JJ, ANB, Spargo, JVR, TMac, BBB, Melksham, some of who may also become elite, Plus all the potential at Casey. MFC are in the Box seat and will be for many years if we continue to get our recruiting right.!!
  20. When they called Clayton Oliver’s name out at the draft and Roosy presented his jumper I remember thinking who the hell is Oliver. I went into overdrive and searched out every article that I could find on the kid, the fact that he had won the Morrish Medal helped ease my concern a little but still felt it was a bit of a left field choice. How grateful am I / We that JT called Clayton’s name at Pick 4. Clarry is well on the way to being Best Ever at the MFC and as Durango mentioned if Clarry can increase his goal kicking he will have ticked every box and put himself in line for all major awards and perhaps a few more Premierships as well.!!!
  21. Christian Petracca, it’s hard to find the words that sum up my feelings for Tracc I have loved every thing that he has bought to our mighty club up to this point. To have a group of such elite players at our club at the same time has already shown us all what is possible hell even injured and with a broken leg he is still better than most, and with a bit of luck and continued smart recruitment we / they are capable of so much more. Looking forward to seeing what a tough fit Christian Petracca can bring in 2023.!!!
