Except every club runs preseason camps like this and it has actually been planned by the coaching dept and leadership/high performance consultants rather than a poorly conceived series of boxing sessions by a poorly qualified meathead with subpar leadership skills?

I'm guessing the details of what the camp would consist of were kept secret from the players prior to getting there, nothing more. Putting them out of their comfort zone and challenging them in completely unexpected ways.
