I look forward to being amused as this forum is inundated with calls to draft Parish following the release of his highlights package.
-
I have never been a fan, but listening to him being interviewed on the radio this morning only cemented my view that it is a definite no. Seemed almost disinterested, coached on what to say (but not well) and wasn't convincing in the slightest that he'd do what it will take to salvage his career. Andy Maher even tried to help him out by putting words in his mouth to the effect that he was putting the blame squarely on his own shoulders for failing at Carlton, but it was to no avail.

I like Tommy Glen. Decent size, good runner, doesn't waste a disposal. Should be available with a rookie pick even.
-
Surely it's bleedingly obvious to all that Collingwood purposely leaked details of a "secret surgery" and then the "hacked video" as they were purely stunts to ward off interest from other clubs as the deal was stalling?

Toumpas could still play many more. I'll watch on with mild interest.
-
They could have had Joel Selwood and Nathan Jones/Mitch Clark/Paddy Ryder/Shannon Hurn/Bernie Vince/Andrew Swallow (but still took Grant Birchall later in that draft). The Hawks made the good ones count, and moved on long ago with the ones that didn't.

Not even close. He has some good attributes, but he's exceptionally scrappy with the ball, has poor skills and cheats. Parish is a class above.
-
All clubs value them, because it gives you the best chance to get them right. But they also know that once they've been used, the pick number no longer serves any real purpose.
-
His haircut is an abomination.
-
I'd have thought Mitch Thorp over Joel Selwood would be the clincher. A prime example of how whingeing about fluffed draft picks is pointless. Work with what you've got.

SOS would know Trac from their basketball days obviously. -
I can't believe this bloke was even in the position to be able to get these deals done. Should have been sacked on Monday. Disgraceful.

2015 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch

Lofty? -
Yeah. And it's a patently stupid question.
-
Not far. Same area as Lachie Henderson roughly.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to see picks 43, 46 & 50 go to Syd/Bris/GWS for an earlier pick. Possibly a pick in the 20s & Bugg? Can't recall how many list spots need to be filled, but I'm expecting us to upgrade both Vandenberg & Harmes, so we may not even use all 3 of those picks.
-
NO. Has talent, but seriously mentally weak. I expect him to be delisted within the next 2 years.

Bugg would only fill Howe's place. At least we have Gawn & Dunn to spread the god-awful-pun load. -

I think it's a raffle after pick 15, this year especially, so not too concerned about having late picks if they're not really early. -

Pretty sure you just get afforded a handful of picks at the end of the draft for each list vacancy, then you need to pass on one or 2 picks if you want to have selections in the PSD. -
But they would never be in a position to choose between the 2 options. And if we were to have not yet traded for Melksham and ended up with pick 25 & 29, to then acquire him, you'd still have to give up one of those picks, and then probably the other one to get someone you want like Bugg. Clubs are brutally aware of what assets you have to work with.

I know! If only they'd act like a like a professional with the same commitment that you show in acting like an amateur! -

You're not seriously trying to tell us Fyfe is better than Scully, are you? Uh... Pick 1 mean anything to you? Clearly Sculldawg is better than a spud picked at 20. That's why he's the 6 million dollar man. -

Maybe so, but what if he costs a 2nd rounder and the only other options you have to help Hogan are Dawes & Pedersen? Makes the decision pretty easy in my eyes.
