The lack of up & coming commentating talent means that hopeless geriatrics like Macavaney, Commetti and Roberts have been around torturing us for far far too long. If fate hadn't intervened, we'd have been blessed with Clinton Grybas instead of one of these blokes. Roberts is by far the worst.

He has shown a clear pattern of self-deprecating humour. Is that humble? I guess so. Seems like a great kid who won't get carried away with himself. His hair & complexion will always bring him back down to earth.

Petracca is about 15cm taller than Kennedy, and I'd expect more of a Jake Stringer type HHF role for him. Kennedy will need to learn to play as more of a pure crumber to cement a spot.

Interesting to think that we hear some say we won't have a first round pick this year, but if another team tempts Watts away with big coin, I'd say it's likely we will.

It wasn't mythical; it's simply logical. If GWS were to bid on Viney & we were forced to take him, we wouldn't have had the draft free to on-trade to them later in the pre-arranged deal to get Hogan. Why would they proactively attempt to scupper the trade they wanted?

Being more concerned about one issue than another does not preclude anyone from still being concerned about the latter; in fact it requires it.

This may be a complex concept for you to try to understand, but it's very difficult to have any real grasp on what these players are like at Draft time, unless you've spent a bit of time earlier in the year monitoring them. Shocking, I know!

Barrett isn't going for credibility here. He's trolling, which he has done to the MFC for years. And it generates hits and notoriety in its own way. I'm certain he wouldn't care at all if the vast majority hate-watches him on Footy Classified; he couldn't or else he'd have already chucked it in by now.
