  1. The talk of Bo Allan for our 2nd pick has picked up progressively over the past few weeks. Was mentioned a week or two ago that we've got strong interest supposedly.
  2. So they should. Much better chance they succeed at AFL level then someone like a Armstrong who will take about 6-7 years before they reach their full capacity and make some significant impact at AFL level. Armstrong is Weideman all over.
  3. How does he compare? Well for starters Lever made the initial All Australian squad at just 21 years of age. By 21 Lever was a 3x best 22 and under of the best talent in the league. Had a Rising star nomination by the. Howes not even remotely close to this.
  4. Is this your gut feel or inside sources?

Jack Macrea has never won a Norm Smith medal.
  6. Knock yourself out. Funny part is he's not even my first preference if I had my choice, so you can keep chipping away if you'd like. He'd be no different to a Petracca, Dusty, Cripps when they've rested up forward. When teams have gone on the defensive transition from defence they arent exactly sprinting to their defensive position point. Star players, but not exactly known for being defensive minded on transition. As you say, they have soldiers that cover for them in that instance. Langfords literally shown he can be an attacking mid first but also get into a defensive starting point on the counter attack. With his high end work rate and endurance, he makes up for it by being able to put himself into a position where he can defend and cover off his opponent without any issues. He's a very disciplined individual with high footy IQ that gets underestimate.
  7. 20 goals from 15 Coates League games this year including one game where he kicked 4 goals and 33 disposals against Gippsland Power.. Nah, recruiters won't even need to ask the question.
  8. See for yourself. Played more forward then mid this day and could have easily kicked a bag had it not been for inaccurate kicking. Took some big contested grabs which shows that he could be as dangerous up forward when needed.
  9. Yes that is correct. Hurt his knee and didn't play for the rest of the game.
  10. Yes he is. Sharp is no guarantee to even make it. As it stands he comes in as depth. Lindsay is a high end talent who's got the skillset we're badly lacking and similar to Josh Kelly, can play both inside and out.
  11. Get his fitness up and I can see a situation where he's in our best 22. Kid has potential.
  12. No. He hasn't been nominated as a father son yet and I'll be surprised if he is even drafted in the end.
  13. Cody Angove is now probably back in our thoughts with this pick.
  14. Harmes played that game.

I've been fortunate enough to see the design of the two proposed ovals. Here it is.
  16. It's all guesswork to be honest. We're exactly one month away from the draft and there is no way we'd have a player locked in. We'd have a list of about 6-10 names we'd be interested I with pick 5,and then probably another 10-12 names around the mark for pick 9. Even 24 hour prior to the draft clubs will have last minute change of mind on players as well. I am sure we have interest in Armstrong, but there would be 10 other names we'd be interested in as well.

    Welcome back Kyah Farris-White.
  18. From the Age. Melbourne Arrivals: Tom Campbell (free agency), Harry Sharp (trade) Departures: Angus Brayshaw (retired), Ben Brown (retired), Kyah Farris-White (delisted), Lachie Hunter (retired), Alex Neal-Bullen (trade), Josh Schache (delisted), Adam Tomlinson (delisted) Draft picks: 5, 9 Uncontracted: Marty Hore, Joel Smith Contracted: 37 (no category B rookies) The Demons addressed needs in the player movement period, adding ruck depth (Campbell) behind Max Gawn before trading for Sharp, who will get the chance to replace Neal-Bullen in attack. They have two first-round picks, as they did last year with Caleb Windsor and Koltyn Tholstrup, and will make three selections overall. Melbourne may not place a bid on Essendon’s NGA prospect Isaac Kako after trading for the Bombers’ pick nine. Midfielders Harvey Langford, Sid Draper and Josh Smillie could get through to their first selection, while key forward Harry Armstrong, defenders Alix Tauru and Luke Trainor, and classy midfielder Xavier Lindsay might be in the mix at their second pick. Hore will score another one-year deal, but Smith will be delisted. Judd McVee will be upgraded to the primary list, and Andy Moniz-Wakefield can no longer be a category B rookie.
