2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I've got Smith and Draper gone before our pick hence why I have Langford as our number one choice.

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
If you remember back to when Petracca was in his just for days he was very similar in terms of just banging it on the boot as well. His disposal was sloppy but he showed he had all the basic fundamentals of being a superstar once he entered an AFL environment. I see that with Smillie. Langford is a serious gun. Either way I'd be happy. Langford being able to also be as dangerous up forward is why I have him.ahead.

I've been a big Langford fan, but Jeez I'm slowly coming around to Smillie.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I've seen a few comments on Lindsay that say he's similar to Billings. I don't see it that way at all. During the Coates League he played majority of his games as an inside midfielder and showed that he was willing to get his hands dirty and win the contested footy. Some vision here.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
He's got concussion issue that is scaring clubs off. Expect him to slide significantly.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
I reckon we'll have strong consideration for Smillie with this pick.

If GWS weren't willing to budge with all the picks we had there's no way they'll settle with what's left. Shut the door on this one, let's have another look in 12 months time.

Coaching Role for Jonesy?

- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
A big no to Harry Armstrong. Reminds me too much of Sam Weideman and tends to lack intensity at times. If you're wanting key forward, go after Jobe Shanahan.. kid is an absolute beast.- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Also adding Joel Smith and Adam Tomlinson as outs. So I'm guessing we'll have room to fit Riak Andrew? I worry that if he gets a bid in the national draft, we have nothing to match the bid. There are reports that clubs do like him in the back half of the draft.- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I am guessing we are leaving room for potential delisted free agents? Having the 2 draft picks and Harry Sharp surely doesn't put our list spots at full capacity?- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9

Wow.. did we really need to give up that much??- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I'm happy to hold fire on pick 5 and 9. I don't think there is too much of a difference in talent between pick 2 and pick 5, so either way I think we win with whoever we select with pick 5.- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Most likely go through tomorrow.- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Our draft motive will be to grab two players that can come in and impact straight away. I honestly don't think we'll go a tall with our first two picks. I think we'll go mids first and foremost. One thing to consider with the draft is the uncertainty of both Oliver and Trac next year. Pick 5 should be in someone like Harvey Langford. 190cm big bodied midfielder who can have some serious impact up forward also. His game against Gippsland Power where he had 33 disposals and kicked 4 goals was evident that he can be just as dangerous up forward. I reckon Smillie will be under heavy consideration for pick 9 also if he doesn't get taken by the Tigers at pick 6.- Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Go for two mids. Get a tall later in the draft if need.- Oliver Trade Rumours
This account is a pisstake and has been the a couple of years now.- The Draft Pick Upgrade Thread
Personally don't think he gets picked up. To be honest, I would like to think we don't get sucked in by the Yze name because talent wise, he's either a late rookie or he goes undrafted. He didn't get any invite to the national or state combines which speaks volume as you at least need one AFL club to register an interest which he didn't. He was tried in a few positions this year with little success in any.- 9 Reasons to be Positive Heading into 2025
Bloody media and their agenda...- Wade Derksen
Reckon we walk away from this unfortunately. GWS very adamant he stays and we've got far more pressing needs such as obtain another pick in the first round.- 2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
