Things are "a bit of a mess" according to Shane Woewodin
Nothing wrong with it. He's obviously worried like every other parent that have kids playing for the Dees with all the noise and leaks coming out of the club. Spoke to a parent of a current player few weeks back now and they too shared their concerns around some of the player behaviour and culture issues inside the club. Same parent that told me the Petracca camp had some serious issues against the Melbourne Football Club. Tom Morris then broke the story two weeks after that.

Oliver Trade Rumours
Players not fussed if Oliver's traded.. speaks volume in itself.

Wade Derksen
He's staying at GWS. They're pretty adamant after talks this weeks and a few proposals put forward to them that he's staying. Just remember GWS have a history of this with Cam McCarthy.

That's Jason Taylor's opinion of the draft testing, not mine. I'll happily take his opinions over anyone that attempts to day otherwise. Transition run isn't about speed.. it's the ability to cruise at a level that can get you to and from contests. Sam Mitchell was one of the slowest midfielders going around but it was his ability to gut run to and from contest at a consistent rate is why he was a champion inside midfielder. Langfords 2km was rated top 10 which means he's got the endurance to cover the ground.. massive tick. Langfords hands inside are just as impressive with his ability to get first use and disturbe cleanly to the outside. He's a one touch player with clean hands and ability to manoeuvre into space and use his left peg. One thing that's separates Langford from any other midfielders in the draft is that he's a goal kicking midfielder. In 15 games this year he's kicked 20.17 which shows he's got the versatility to go up forward and have a major impact as well. His best performance was a 33 disposal 4.0 game against Gippsland Power in round 9. This is where the game is going in terms of midfielders being able to score and have an impact up froward. This is something we severely lack as we are far too often relying on Petracca as our one and only mid who is capable of doing this.- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford
Jason Taylor has been on record through a number of podcast that draft testing gives them a good reading more on there mental capacity then physical. He has also stated that its not the be end all for determining that players draft selection or his footballing ability So yeah, in other words it barely makes that much of a difference either way.- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford

Yeah interesting. I'm intrigued to see what happens to our NGA prospects in Riak Andrew and Ricky Mentha then.- Are the Dees Still a Destination Club?

He's not Chris Judd for Gods sake. Go and watch Zac Butters junior highlights. Not flashy at all, if anything it's underwhelming compared to what Smith has shown. You do understand not every draftee are going to have exactly every trait you've just highlighted in a footballer. It's utterly bizarre you think top draft prospects should be the complete package. Nick Daicos biggest weakness going into the draft was his strength and overheard marking and yet he still performs just fine. You're nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking..- The Draft Pick Upgrade Thread
Think you need to actually take the time to.watch these kids.. It hasn't stopped the likes of Nick Daicos dominating from day one with his light frame? Daicos was only 73kg when he was drafted and Smith is about similarly weight and exactly same height. Zac Butter who Jason Taylor tried desperately hard to trade up for in the 2018 draft is another similarly to Smith plays. One of his biggest strengths is his kicking and ability to break the lines and motor himself to each contests. Just one small example why this kid has been rated a genuine top 3 propsect for the best part of 18 months. - Trac's Overseas Training Camp
