Dang. Another solid prospect we miss out on unfortunately.

Bumped into him only about 2 weeks back at a local footy finals game and had a decent chat with him. I just couldn't get over how much his body shape has changed significantly since i last saw him.

Of course he hasnt signed.. it was clear from day dot that behind closed doors he had put contract talks on hold to the end of the season even though the club have had a deal on the table for him for a while. Clearly what he has says to his close friends and family is completely different to what he says to the general supporters. Whilst the talk with King seems to have been positive, unless I see an official announcement, then at this stage he hasnt signed an official deal.

Dont love it. Would have preferred someone externally with a good amount of AFL playing and coaching experience. New voice would have been handy.

Rosas could end up giving us a solid Jeff Garlett like career or just end up as another Harry Sharp, Tom Fullarton type who end up being genuine plodders. Trades are pretty much just a lottery.

I remember Ash Johnson giving May/Lever a nice touch up in 2022 when he kicked 4 goals on a friday nigjt. Genuinely thought he was going to be a dangerous forward for the pies for years to come.

If there was a case where we the club would need to trade one to relieve cap space i have been very adamant for a long time that you trade Oliver. Its okay though, even if it did happen I wont lay my blame at Brad Green and the board.

I think some forget that before his achillies this year he was actually fully fit and dominating the match sim games. Looked a completely different play compared to his first year. If he can get his body fully fit and start getting some good conditioning in then who knows. Whilst I havent written him off, I acknowledge he is coming from a long way back now.
