  1. Yep. See either the AFLW Fixture 2023 or Dr McClelland Trophy threads (which mods may now be merging)
  2. Mods @Demonland, this could be merged with the AFLW Fixture 2023 thread where there was analysis and discussion of this last week: bring it all together heading towards 'The Mill'! After this weekend's matches we remain atop the ladder. The top 4 all advance 8 points, leaving Melbourne half a game ahead of Brisbane, a game ahead of Collingwood and a game and a half ahead of Adelaide. Carlton now probably drops out of the race. Our percentage margin increases: Melbourne now 140.3, Brisbane 128.6, Collingwood 123.5, Adelaide 127.8
  3. Or perhaps 9 lives, Mono? A good few premierships there, then!
  4. A cunning plan, SA... And he'd be taken under Melky's wing, too? (apologies to Jake 😁)
  5. (Sometimes they just jump out, Will. Sorry 😏...) If it's in the #1 pick, take it!
  6. 1A, 1F, 2Ls, 1M, 1N, 2Os, 1R, 2Ts and a U, but no C. And even if he deed-polls 'James' into his apparently vacant middle name spot (see above), still none. As a 2-metre midget, he played guard, I believe. That's a position needing a bit of the third letter? p.s. Welcome, Tom!
  7. I believe the whole squad has travelled. Long flights not great for injuries. But the players are expertly managed.
  8. Same vein, but lighter, if I recall it correctly: 99 to a jealous Max: 'You're twice the spy 43 is, 86'
  9. Any goss on the Harri-string @WalkingCivilWar or anyone else? It's starting to seem a bit Oliveresque?😬
  10. Just keeping this one at the crease 😁 Got any more info, @Whispering_Jack?
  11. Move it over to the thread already created for that, WD 🙂
  12. Before @Demonstone gets in: He could use it.
  13. Thanks, Stone. Not angered, just bemused. Responding only (a) for info, re Thilthorpe's abilities (in DLanders' views) and (b) with my questions, to help call out the (presumed) nonsense - ain't ever going to be ignored, so that's the fallback.
  14. I want to contribute to this hilarity but I'm stumped.
  15. I'm liking it. But will try to keep expectations in check; he doesn't seem to have a ruck's 'bigness', and 2 years seems short for the mutual buy-in to 'getting going' à la Max. And he's moving from his home state.
  16. This looks more like the question was 'Who says Yes?'??!!
  17. Apologies for giving Cornes oxygen. 'Like for like'. Would it be? In football terms for one (@Demon Disciple's response noted) but also: The player's respective desires to move (if any)? Does HP still get the $3.4m? And what contract for RT?
  18. That news item said 'around $800k' a year after the first-year $1m...
  19. Anything to update us with, @Whispering_Jack?
  20. This one provides echoes of the excitement from the highlights of a chubby C. Oliver that surfaced in the days leading up to his draft. Professionalism concerns? Switches can flick, as Clayton duly demonstrated (recent, hopefully outlier, circumstances excepted!)
  21. Cameron Ling? But with a bit more pace?
  22. Sorry, B; only what's on the news: Players, clubless - so with no security -between seasons, a great distance from Netball Australia on a new pay deal.
  23. Wouldn't be banking on anything Super Netball related atm... 😏
  24. A lot of eggs in one basket. On the other hand, it's only one basket, the 2023 one. Could someone update us on how we'd be placed at the 2024 draft after a possible/likely wash-up of this trade period? Ta.
