  1. Me, too, Deez. My comment was about a minimum outcome 😊
  2. ...subject to the cost, business-expense-budget(aka salary cap)-wise.
  3. With some trepidation, I extend @Stretch Johnson's original line of thought, over on the Billings thread, to suggest #28 (or thereabouts?)
  4. (1) Supremely correct 🙂 Thanks! (2) Frankly*, yes! * Adams or Davis for the younger among you!
  5. 'Robbo'? 😉 Or, in due course, the 'Wiz/ard' mantle? Mk.III
  6. Yep. Twice. But appropriate to have it come from someone else. 😁 I'm in the 'if the terms and expectations are appropriate' (= very modest) camp, per my earlier post.
  7. Time for a poll? 🔲 It's the entry method 🔲 It's the goal kicking
  8. I see what you're doing there, Katrina, but Harry Wayne Casey (I looked it up!) was urging the subject, who everybody wanted, to 'give it up', to him? Don't encourage Reid! 😄 Well, not that one anyway, #number1pick.
  9. Perhaps Ch.9 was after a 4-putt double bogey and Ch.7 was after closing with a nett 43 points? Seriously, though, Harry's own words, his voice, and his body language in both is there for all to see and judge how they will. Several rungs of clarity above media speculation. The response of our other players will be interesting. It's now such an 'open' thing (as opposed to Jackson's secretiveness), I suspect the 'locker room' will be into it in a big way, hopefully geeing Harry up in a positive way.
  10. Noting the article on Billings I posted, then bumped, earlier, these conditions and reasoning might make it OK.
  11. Lamb and Co. burning some midnight oil tonight, perhaps...
  12. Spend a couple of years compiling a set of learnings he can pass on to his 200cm, SE Queensland successor, the next #34.
  13. Ch.9's claimed as 'Exclusive', so Ch.7's done after? Conspiracy theory: Club got in his ear between the two? 😉
  14. Tim Lamb's modest expectations: "As the year sort of rolled on we thought we might need some backup in that [forward] area of the ground."
  15. (* Wonder when they fly in?) Agenda item #1 Stop Jasmine Garner: AFLCA voting 1. Jasmine Garner 60 2. Daylight 3. 49 (Laura Gardiner, Sydney(!))
  16. Thanks, Deever. Nice. Also, what a team. of not too many stars. Don't want to jinx us (I certainly don't think we'll fall to the Eagles in a Perth final!...) but, next year then, it could be 'Demon Spirited Attack'?
  17. Going back to the OP (some thread it's turned out to be, eh, @FrothiesLiam?!) recall these points by Rucci, informative for 'where to now?': '[He]...rejected a two-year offer [from Crows] when he wanted three.' [described later as 'the key point'] 'One reason for McAdam’s...departure is differences between he and the club’s fitness staff...[He]...suffered both a thigh injury and fractured cheekbone in 2023.' 'There are also some other issues that have emerged through the year in that there's clearly a difference of opinion or style between him and the fitness coaches of Adelaide as to what was best for his preparations and so forth.' 'When you get that sort of unsettled moment in a footy club that can keep rolling along.' 'He has put out the feeler to Melbourne, they've put their arms around him...' [I liked this. It's what we do 😊]
  18. @Binmans PA has put the memo on your desk, Bin? Though it appears it would be an unpopular executive decision.
  19. It's fortunate El Niño is returning (apparently...). Improves the chances of our Gosch's/Casey team retaining this Sunshine Coast boy.
