  1. Not everyone's on faceblocked, folks. Got these in accessible media?
  2. Was there, too, Dg, visiting all-'Swannies' brother n family. Too numb to remember any crowd behaviour. Own family gracious enough to be commiserational. Even the Howe mark was on the other wing. And he handballed it off for a turnover...
  3. Ah, the breadth of the church that is Demonland's views on pretty well any subject. Warms the cockles of one's heart. Puts chills down one's spine.
  4. At first glance, his guernsey in the central action pic was indeterminately coloured and looked to be sporting a map of Tassie! 😲😬😄
  5. Was there, with 30-something 'kids' (front row, Punt Rd left fwd flank) Got a TV screenshot of very excited us behind Fritta's goal celebration - things looked so rosy at that stage of the game. We're looking forward to tomorrow for catharsis. The nicest of DeesTracctions!
  6. Dot point #1 - Good omen for tomorrow!☺️
  7. Did everyone miss this from his presser? His milestone game record is zero and three. Uh-oh... So, break that for him, boys! He'll certainly be doing his bit!
  8. Try the Hogan stutter.
  9. ...presumably as an indicator of a Burgess factor? 28.20 to 24.23 over 8 rounds. Won 6.
  10. I posted this on the 'Which quarter/s IS it?' thread: "But what about this in the first 5 rounds?... Us 1.2, them 3.4 Us 1.2, them 8.1 Us 2.2, them 6.2 Us 0.3, them 4.2 Us 2.2, them 5.1 Yep, the last quarters, outscored by 20 goals. Little to no media questioning. Little to no acknowledgement." Since then, Us 1.6, them 3.3 Us 1.4, them 4.1 Us 6.0, them 5.3 Us 1.1, them 6.5

  12. Nice to reflect on this relationship, and the initiatives to recognise it. I wonder if the 'complementary 3-game memberships' mentioned will be counted in our membership tally? https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1776473/celebrating-15-years-of-partnership-city-of-casey
  13. Doesn't he! Anyways, 'Luke Jackson, come on down!'
  14. Nah, it'll be our fifth. And Clarrie will have kicked it.
  15. That would be nice but, if he stays, Kossie has a 100+ games head start on him! 😊
  16. ...or, with a bit of shadow and a lot more hair... D. Neitz
  17. Too many to check but, surely, in 14 pages... Anyways, just in case, have these two ever been seen in the same room together? Oh. Wait...
  18. Shaping up, now, for an 8th AA, to go into equal second all-timer. And joining Robert Harvey on top in '26? melbournefc.com.auAFLCA Votes | Max’s mammoth startMax Gawn is sitting equal fourth in the race for the AFLCA Award
  19. No. Nor is any other Dee. 😠
  20. A bit of this guy, too?...
  21. A fresh rabbit hole for this peripatetic thread. Allow me to kick it along the road: We were in a (TV) movie, foreshadowing (wrongly, thank God) the aftermath of the Round 6 Freo game. 'Crisis in Six Scenes'
  22. Of course! I must have been bananas not to think of that!
  23. Yeah; where can we go to find out, Red?
  24. Yep; the sub-text of my post, Luci. Thanks 😁
  25. Never gets old. Watched it at the then Easts Rugby Union Club in Braddon ACT, in a packed raucous crowd, then didn't really sleep that night. After the preceding near-quarter-of-a-century, the feeling was not too far short of that of a further third-of-a-century later!
