GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Looks like you came in the wrong side, 'Numbers'? I did have to ask a couple of times where they'd hidden the 'vertical transport', but otherwise OK access (albeit arriving after game had started...)

With my slightly dodgy eyes from the level 3 gods, it looks like we're spanking the Pies. Nice, in my dreams.

10th season of the AFLW
My 'down on herself' comment arose after she 'dropped' a contested mark near the goal square. She followed up strongly, kept the ball in, got it inboard, and a teammate's goal resulted. But as others celebrated and the ball made its way back to the centre she was shaking her head and punching her sides. However, she showed a much lighter side joking with the Dees-staff goal ump when the ball was away.

That's a good 'Good lord', I presume? I particularly liked her team-oriented efforts -her worm-burner to McNamara was a gem. She still gets down on herself when she thinks she's stuffed up (she shouldn't, and she generally hasn't anyway!)

NON-MFC: Round 20
I wondered, too, BBP. In the 7 completed games, the average margin is 67.86 points. From afltables, the greatest average margin for a round was 77.33 points, in Round 21, 1986, but only 6 games were played. The greatest for 7 games is 69.14. We're ahead of the 8-games record (66.88). The tables go down to 20th-worst (63.83) with no 9-game entrant. With Collingwood playing Richmond, and who knows what will happen in 'that other game', I reckon Round 20, 2025 has the 9-gamer in the bag! If the round gives 77.33 a push, I hope we're on the right end of it!!!! (proudly, we contributed well to the current record - an 85-point demolition of North)

10th season of the AFLW
Thanks, A. So, 3 talls, eh? Hmmm... May further explain some of the drop off from the cracking show in the first half! And we watch, fingers crossed... Yes, the mids, and their back and forward links, were a fabulous group. As said earlier, it's going to be fun! 😊

No injuries queried, or mentioned by 'Brew', so all clear, it seems? Goodo!

They should be - they seemed to be in everything! 😊

10th season of the AFLW
All over, 9.8 to 4.4 (so Hawks by 2 points in 2nd half - they lifted their own movement). Anyone see who the injury was? (backline, other end from me) A tall; Gillard? Harris blood-ruled, too, I think.

1/2 time at the Hawks praccy game. 7.8 already (to Hawks 2.2). 8 on bench, so squad hit-out. General impression, super ball movement, marking, speed, attack on the ball, and tackling. And great team spirit. (I'm not good at picking out individuals, sorry) So, yes!

The No T$ No B$ Thread
That's sobering, isn't it... Although, it is offset somewhat by the draft outcomes that followed. And perhaps a bit harsh on Langdon's, Melksham's, May's and Lever's participations. Ironic, too, that this discussion is in this thread. His was a loss I don't think we (eventually) felt we suffered for! 😄

Max on the Front Bar
Of course, GD. My point was that that particular number was so readily used by him, as opposed to, say, the more obviously rounded - and desirable - '300'. This, supported by him saying 'plus 50 games at Casey' ('rationalising' himself past a '300'), hinted at him recognising (expecting?) an end short of the opportunity to reach 300 in 2028.

Max on the Front Bar
At the end he says he 'has his head on' 2 more years, 'maybe 3'. Earlier he refers to 290 as his last game, currently on 240, i.e. 2 years including (premiership-winning?!) finals and the occasional 'managed'? So, we have him for 2026 and 2027. Then, maybe 2028 at a stretch.
